So as I sit here listening to music and editing music, I realize that I'd like to be able to experience this through something other than just my headphones. So I think a nice 2.1 setup would be good considering they don't cost too much. I'm looking for something that I can hook up to my computer and that has a not-too-large footprint. My desk area is somewhat small. The subwoofer wouldn't be any problem (that can go on the floor), but my desk is somewhat limited in available space.
So what say you, Moe's? What's a decent 2.1 setup that won't bankrupt me? I'd prefer to keep the cost under $100.

EDIT: If you can afford it, get a pair of Mackie monitors like these. They are a bit pricey, but so worth it for sound quality. Just make sure you have a good sound card in you computer.
EDIT EDIT: Don't be afraid to buy used. You can save a nice chuck of change there.
