    Well, I won't go nagging because honestly I'd like to curl up with something cranky and get crass too. Alternatively, curl up with someone crass and do something cranked. Alternatively again, but with less metaphors, goshdurnit I am lonely and bored! It's not even 3AM yet, blurgh.     I received my tax return yesterday, $250. It's enough money to make me feel like I could get something cool, but not enough money to actually get something cool. I'm really not in the mood to get another console, I'd need to spend upwards of $1000+ to get a TV that I'd be proud of keeping around for the next 10 years, and I can't really upgrade anything in my audio recording rigs with that amount of money (except maybe buy more cables, but I don't really need them at the moment).

    I should probably do the responsible thing and keep it around so I can pay bills.

    No, I live with my ma. I'm alone in the "I'm with people but not with them."

    Sometimes I feel like that Dexter guy from that show Dexter. Not in the sense that I want to go around killing people, but that whole "let's pretend we're people too!" thing.

    Threads like that have been ruled permissible before, or at least ... the content has been ruled permissible, but I can't for the life of me remember the context. In G&T, I think? This was still a while back, and it was an established forumer instead of some random. I think H/A has sometimes in the past let people post academic surveys there? Not sure.

    They're usually allowed in here if they accompany some sort of discussion but usually "hey help me with this by doing that" gets locked.

    But since this is university research and everything, I think the mods will let it slide.
