Kick-ass #2 was pretty sweet as well:
Him fighting(and eventually driving away) all those gang members was ace.

I have to get my shop to order this for me.
Apparently they decided that the first one didn't sell out quick enough in the first couple days that it was out.
So they didn't order any of #2.

Does your retailer not like money? Like, they know they're running a periodical business, right?

    Secret Invasion spoilers.

A ship crashes in the Savage Land. Who's inside?
    1207163242996.jpg

    so...
in that picture, im thinking our (our referring to person-things not comming from the ship) simon is a skrull, as is our luke cage, and their (from the ship) thor, phoenix, iron man, scarlet witch, spidey and cap.

    I'm also guessing
    their Wolverine. He's too...obvious.
I KNOW WHO I AM BUT WHO IS THAT!
That does not sound like Logan. Logan would probably leap at his Skrull clone before saying a word.

Infinity Inc is getting better now that they're an actual team and all.

Although it is pretty much a blatant rip-off of the X-Men.

You can omit "pretty much" from your sentence, Keith.

That would imply some wiggle room where it isn't blatantly and notoriously stealing the premise of X-Men.

I'm really liking Rick Remender's story in All-New Atom. Like, a lot.

My only problem is that it doesn't feel like The Atom. The humor isn't there. It's a really good story (so far, at least), but it just doesn't feel like it's in the right book.

So my assumptions after SI #1

    Who might be a Skrull
Simon is really a skrull, I mean it just makes perfect sense. I never thought that Wolverine might have been a skrull till this issue but after seeing the old school wolverine i started thinking it might actually be. I think spiderwoman is surely a skrull though i am not sure about others. Ironman might be a sleeper agent skrull, that might make everything interesting

    Who is "he"
He loves you. He even Loves you. He that they spoke of is probably a skrull prophet or something. The reason why they said he "even" for Reed is that Reed is like Skrull hitler for them. If we do not consider galactus, reed is the biggest skrull mass murderer.

The LCS I work part time got screwed over by Diamond. We got out books and we had less than 1/5th of our order. We had most of our Secret Invasion, Young X-Men and few odds in MARVEL. So the owner had the drive put of state to the warehouse. 9hr.s later he returned and we had to bad and board book till 10:00 at night which sucked cause I've been there since 10:00 that morning. Damn Bastards

I don't get paid by the hour. It's mostly just friend helping a friend and I get paid for it. I got paid a little extra this week. I told him not to pay me extra cause I spent most of the day doing jack shit due to no comics, but he insisted. So I used my extra and picked up the complete Walt Simonson Orion run.

    I finally read Wanted.

I went in expecting horrors previously unknown, and instead thought it was okay. I won't be raving about it for weeks or anything, but I didn't feel it was the worst thing I'd ever seen or read.

A real MOTW may well be my nearly finishing my Y collection, and pondering moving onto Fables trades.

What if the ship Spidey is the real deal? All those costumes look to be about late 70s, early 80s era to me...

    Spidey wasn't married back then.

Makes you think about where they were going with 'Brand New Day', huh?

Oh christ and the Clone Saga.

the last issue wasn't as bad

except for the pages that had Wonder Girl and Robin in them.

and the "lol teenagers text messaage"

I mean, Wendy sends Tim a picture message of Titans Tower exploding? Yeah, that's kind of neat! I mean, they don't have little buttons for "Holy shit, there's an emergency!" that calls every person ever associated with the Teen Titans. I guess the Tower exploding isn't worth the hassle.

I'm still wondering as to why Eddie has any sort of problem, when the Titans were essentially formed to deal with the exact same thing.
