    It works better when you have higher levels because you make yourself a half-dragon. We built an arena thing in high school and the half-dragon fighter dominated.

    I realized that d20 Modern is not a very good system.

    D20 Modern is an extremely fun setting/system.
    All depends on who is running it. Never have I had any real fun with Modern, but my DM was a little weird.
    I tried my best to run it, but the players never really enjoyed it.

    I've been playing for 17 years, and GMing for about that Theidar. Most of em make me feel young anyway, especially that toddler who insists on sending "poop" to me over and over on MSN.

    my only real successful DMing attempts have been a goblin hunt in D&D and 'the end of paradise' in d20 CoC. The only Chaosium CoC campaign I've tried was an utter failure and not fun for anybody in the game, either the one i ran here or irl.

    After beginning to skim through it, would any of the PCs want to try out the 4th ed quickplay adventure using the pregenerated characters?

    if I recall correctly its a subscription service. But a good subscription service. Like it tracks character levels, items, XP, feats, and the same for monsters.
