    Pounce is absolutely essential to the hidden

    You use it to get from place to place, get out of tight spots, charge up a pigstick then pounce at someone

    remember that you can stick to walls and roofs and shit too

    Also, if you are The Hidden and you don't taunt your victims before you kill em, you suck.

    It's the best thing ever when you hear "Behind you." and then get pigstuck as you spin around.

    We used to do that in Planetside. Send a tell to the guy you're sniping that you're right behind him, then easy kill.

    I wonder if my HL2DM grav-gun game will transfer to the hidden... I played semi-pro in CSS, and you all know me in TF2, but HL2DM was a haunt for me for about 8 months or so... I beat BARKING CRAB once and I still have the screenshot. My g-gun was easily the strongest area of my game (I could kill multiple people in succession without ever firing a shot), and seeing stuff flingable is quite interesting to me...

    That said, I am absolutely awful at spy in TF2. I can sneak around well enough, I'm quite good at that, but I'm terrible at killing things...

    Anyway, enough self-indulgent introspection. We shall see in a few days.

    How does one kill when they are the Hidden? Is it body part specific? Like a slash to the foot wont kill like a slash to the head.


    I tried the tutorial thing too, it told me to pounce across the gap, how does one pounce?

    Oh man so I just played this again for the first time in a while.

    Maaaaannnn that is a great game. So creepy.

    I just played on a server with four amiable British gentlemen.

    It was like all Flippy, all the time.

    I did pretty well, but the best of them killed me with the bloody paintball gun.

    I could not get voice chat to work at all in this game. Is there some special trick to it? The mic test in options wouldn't even pick up my voice. I went into TF2 to see if I had broken hardware but in that game everything worked fine.

    Best moment of last night:

    I saw the hidden hiding, but just sitting still, so I killed him as I rushed toward his body. When I get there, the creepy hidden voice says, "This isn't over yet." Then the game crashes.


    Oh awesome.
