McGibs, I find it strange that you stuck a Samurai in there when all the other soldiers are totally western. I mean, it obviously fits somewhere, but it's not exactly related to the progression of western warfare. Perhaps a soldier from the 18th century, with a musket or something along those lines.
And on the note of "duly noted," doesn't that have somewhat of a negative connotation? When you said that I assumed that it was like "Yeah, sure, I guess, but I don't really care." And then you fixed what they were talking about.
Anyways...I'd also like to note that you might want to work on your text bubbles for Locust. The left-justified text looks kind of weird, and the bubbles aren't conforming on average to the size/shape/amount of text.
Good stuff nonetheless.

A conquistador might fit the western theme a little better, but samurai are a lot more fun to draw.

It's definitely lacking some serious contrast. The background is also pretty uninspired, which is unlike you. The feet are also very small and stubby. Overall it looks pretty flat. Maybe if you made it look like he was actually holding the radio, and taking a more (mildly) dynamic stance, it would bring a lot more of the typical flavor to the piece, that is usually present in your artwork.
As it stands it's vastly underwhelming, compared to your other works
But that aside, I still loves the work you do, Gibbsy.
