Your cousin is right. And congratz on getting through a very christian christmas. And also when your family uses pronouns referring to you which gender do they use?
To stay in the house, I have to go back to the old and male ways. I promised myself to sort of keep quiet on the issue until after Christmas day, but it's not as if it's the sort of thing you can really ever hide-- keeping quiet about it just means keeping the peace while we're in the company of extended family I fear would excommunicate my parents just the same they excommunicated me.
Your whole family is oppressively religious, then? That fucking sucks. I don't know how people manage to get free of that sort of thing when it's pressed upon them from a very young age.
This group here has meant a great deal to me over the years, and this past year has been especially difficult for me, and you all have been incredibly awesome. I know Thanksgiving is over, but I'd just like to say that what I'm most thankful for is my D&D crew. You guys win the internet and everything forever.

I am reading Feet of Clay right now, and then I will read Thud!, and after that Discworld intermission I will return to the third book of His Dark Materials, and continue to unearth the sheer awesome that is that series' metaplot.
Then I will read the Asimov robot collection I bought for my dad, and the crazy novel about a serial killer sealed inside a star who is employed to kill an entire planet, which I also bought for him.
McGibs is the artist and he is filled with awesome. He was offered a job at Blizzard at like, 17 years old, but turned it down to actually go to art school and widen his abilities.

Someone on Magic: the Gathering Online was phishing for accounts, and a friend of mine noticed he was using a Geocities site to do it and busted the FTP pretty fast. The kid had a lot of other random crap hosted there, including pictures showing it was, well, just a kid, so I messaged the kid and said he should cut it out (I used his legal name, which we got off some docs in the FTP), and since it was Christmas I would just throw some packs his way regardless of whether or not he was going to stop the phishing shit.
I try to log in tonight, and my account is frozen because apparently such generosity is inconceivable and I was obviously an accomplice.
EDIT: Oh and for the uninitiated, the way M:tGO works is that you pay real money for 'real' digital packs of cards, so my collection of 19000 cards on that account was worth a ... sizable amount.
At that point it becomes a matter of playing Pong with the upper ball and actually dropping the large ball then catching it by tilting quickly enough to get below the drop.

But why won't that one person on MySpace read the message I sent her? She was online, yet it goes unread. I hate that feature so much.
Did they improve the back-end to that site when they got bought out? It used to be unreliable and slow as all heck.
