That's true. Unfortunately coming back from the dead in this game is not going to go as well as last game.
Yeah, I'm not sure how we could manage that. It's not like we're going to stop and collect the charred corpses from the debris of destroyed ships. And the Cylons aren't Borg or anything.

They aren't, right?
Nope. There are cylons made of fleshy bits but they're "born" that way.
Of course, when they die they can just download their brains into a new body and be all cool with it. So yeah, coming back from the dead is not a good thing in this game. It's kinda like the mark of Cain or someshit.
Also, re:Hollow Hats: I find silk linings offensive. (or...I dunno.)
Guys, guys, Kin33 obviously wants us to vote for him. I mean clearly he is part of a mason group and he plans on giving us the name of his buddy after vote-close but before narration so that when he dies Good all the specials can contact Mr. Kin's buddy and we can get this network rolling. Or of course he is a thrall whom ability works even unto death and his buddy plans on killing all the squishy specials who contact him.

As a concerned citizen, I'd like the security on the Celestra to be beefed up, as well as increased protection from the fleet. We're doing vital work here, people!
Since Obbi and Mr. Blarney haven't really had much of a chance to prove themselves asthey just entered office, but Blarney is at least making an effort, I'll !Vote Mr. Blarney.
Obbi has to earn his reelection still. Until he does, I'll submit myself as the worthiest candidate for President.
A vote for !Sepah is a vote for free robot-lethal cookies for everyone!
I was going to vote Maximus for the treachery of inactivity, but then he posted, ruining the whole idea. So, !Kin33.
I don't really think he's a Cylon, so if one of the robots would be so kind as to non-jokingly identify themselves as a toaster, we can get the game started off right.
Man, my sleep patterns are all kinds of messed up.
I guess Bliss 101 and Hylianbunny missed my clarification requests earlier, since they haven't been answered yet. Regardless, I think El Skid's idea of distributing out people to the ships is good: two on each of the Government / Civilian ships and three to four on each of the others. Too many people on a single vessel will hinder our ability to find enemies in the case of an unexpected player death, and spreading things like this may deter unlawful activity. From what I've seen so far, I don't see any need to put out specific orders for everyone to follow. If the threat of Cylon attack becomes more severe, however, I may request your compliance in movement orders.
I'm going to withhold my votes for now, but I would like to thank everyone who has voted for giving myself and Obbi a chance to prove ourselves in our respective positions. I won't let you down.
Well, I'm disappointed that my chosen candidates did not win, but I'm happy to let !Mr. Blarney and !Obbi stay in power for another day or two.
Also precisionk, we had better be getting bucket seats and furry dice on the good ship Daru Mozu or you may not be captain for long. If you know what I mean.

Be wary around airlocks, Wildcat.
Don't provoke slumbering bears.
Ah, what's he going to do, kill me and wear my skin as a suit?

Oh.
Exactly. Basically what I'm saying is this:
Imagine a coin. On one side, you have well cushioned bucket seats and other disco-era accoutrements. On the other, you have yourself hurtling headlong into a super massive black hole, in incredible amounts of pain.
Man, my sleep patterns are all kinds of messed up.

I've been in a deep, deep sleep. Going through the multitude of PMs now.
TehSpectre cause we are both evil and on the same team...
Kin33 because I kick ass and you all know it.
Hopefully RU doesn't win. I don't want to have to live under his heavy handed rule again.
!TehSpectre because he's an UPSTANDING AND MORAL GUY.
Seriously, he is.
!Kin33 because fuck you guys on your big tough ships, while we get shitty civvie ships. Let's not forget that democracy is a representation of the people... The every day citizen, not just you elite mother fuckers. Our (MACHINE) voices shall be heard.
But the two are friends, so if its a shared joke... *shrugs*
1. Are the military ships' effectivenesses affected by the number of people aboard them? What about the other ships in the fleet (Research, Industrial, Civilian)?
2. For the Admiral and Presidential votes, how to abstained votes count? Are they not counted in the final tally as for anyone, or are they counted as toward the incumbent players?
1. Their hull strength is affected by the number of Engineers aboard the ship, that's all. The only things affecting the military effectiveness of a Military Ship are possible upgrades from the Research ships and experience gained by destroying a Cylon Basestar.
Note that it's technically possible for Engineers to be the only thing holding a ship together, so that if they die or something, the ship is lost.
2. I wasn't planning to, but I'm gonna make things easier for everyone: abstained President and Admiral votes will count towards the incumbents.
So do you guys need me to move ships? 'Cause I like it here, I have my own room with an old poster of Sandra Wilde and everything. Plus I'm lazy. And depressed because I didn't have the photoshop skillzs to get elected president. I'm just gonna stay here and listen to Linkin Park for a while.
Clarification: Normally, a player's role and manner of death will be reported in the narration when they die, but not the name of the faction/special who killed them. There may be exceptions.
Guys, I'm an engineer not a cylon. I'm like Galen. I fix stuff and help the fleet(but there should only be 3 of us per ship). When I die to the vote won't your faces be red. You'll have killing me, a guy who can fix ships, over spaik, a cylon who can destroy ships. Oh, ho, ho, ho won't your faces be red.

Mutually symbiotic, I would say.
I wasn't evil last game!
Even then, I'm not sure what you're implying....perhaps that I have hollowed out FreeAgent and now wear him as a not so subtle disguise?
That can't be it.
How would one hollow out a hat, exactly?
It seems... redundant.

Just so long as it doesn't look cute. That leads to bad things I hear.
It's bad at first but then it becomes very good.

No not really, Kin33 just acting weird and a whole bunch of seriously jokes whenever Seriously posted.

I'm all drained from the stupidity that is the PA primary. I think I'll go do some work here and ignore it for awhile.
Stupid Old People.
Also, Obbi to remain in office.
Hey, I seered Last Son.
Hes a cylon. Seriously.
I want some information! What have you done for me lately?
Since Obbi and Mr. Blarney haven't really had much of a chance to prove themselves asthey just entered office, but Blarney is at least making an effort, I'll !Vote Mr. Blarney.
