Only letting 2000 people in?

Judging from the news post, does that mean that with all the pre-ordered people, that they'll only be letting 700 more people into the convention? Or does that mean that the first 2000 people that come get little convention bags...? A friend and myself are sorta concerned...

I'm suspecting that there might be fire code regulations on crowd size....

Well, we're planning on heading over to the convention center at about 8:45 AM, and we're hoping that there won't be a line of 700 people waiting to rush in...

edit: 8:45 AM on Saturday, before the start of the convention.

The Center's brochure claims it can hold 3,500+, so I wouldn't worry about it.

So is 2000 a big number for this place? Will it be pretty sparsely populated, crowded, or just right? I haven't been to maydenbaur before so i'm just curious...

It can hold 2000 easily. Trust me, this place is BIG.

But I mean, it's going to have enough people that it doesn't feel deserted right?

Monkey-Well, it's not so much sheer size as layout (although the Center is large enough to fill half a city block). It's designed for tons of people from the ground-up.

I'll see you there. Wonder how many early goers you'll see show up.

Also, La Pucelle is getting pretty good now.

Unfortunately I'll be showing up a bit late since I'm flying in the morning of. Hopefully I'll at least miss the rush though. :)

I'll be touching down at SEA at about 6am, so I should get there a little bit before or right on time for the opening of the doors.

How many of you are going to be "camped" out front? Not overnight or anything, but just there plenty early from the start.
