Ok, we know theirs going to be at least 120 computers at PAX, but are their going to be any DDR machines? I'm talking ARCADE, not the PS2 Xbox games. No one has mentioned anything, I just thought I'd bring it up.

What? Are you too good for PS2/Xbox games? I'd be glad with just those...

Nothing against the games, DDR Maxx and Maxx 2 have some really good songs on their but I hate the ps2/xbox pads. They're a little bigger then the arcade, and they slip, unless you spend a buttload for metal or foam pads.

I take it no one really cares.

Hey, I was wondering about this too. A DDR arcade machine is going to be used for the Omegathon DDR round, I hope. Right?

I was considering packing my Ignition 2.0 pad and DDR Max and Max 2 games. I could be persuaded.

Edit: On second that, I'm having trouble getting the foam padding in my suitcase with my PC.

Just think of it... If PAX had a DDR machine, then you all could watch me have a seizure on the floor! :winky:

IM guessing that they will have one, but it seems like its for the omegathon. The schedule has DDR for the omegathon in the theatre room. I assume its there because its the only place to accomodate one of those machines. As far as for free play, I have no idea.

I swear, I'm retiring from any game with the word 'Revolution" in the title. I must be the only person who breathed a sigh of relief at not being called for the Omegathon this year.

AFAIK DDR will be available all weekend, but I'm not sure where. The DDR pads used will be two v2 Cobalt Flux pads.

As Far As I Know. I'm dropping the pads off for the entire weekend, so hopefully they'll be in use the entire weekend and not just pulled out for the Omegathon.

I admit it, I've *never* played DDR in my life, and I'm actually looking forward to trying it at PAX. I've always been kinda embarassed to play it, but I'm not worried about that during the expo :D

Your first time, you WILL look like an idiot. Trust me, with damn near everyone, the first time that you play, you will suck... majorly. I did, and now look at me! I'm the grand master of suck!!

I would like some feedback from the staff as to if we're getting a public machine, if you guys aren't too busy. Thank you for working your butts off to put this together btw. *applause*

Hehe, yea, I just didn't want to look like a dumbass in front of all the girls who always hang out around the DDR machines. Doesn't look like that's gonna be a problem at PAX :P

If you don't want to look like a fool, then don't go after I do.

I don't know what is more entertaining to watch, DDR players who are fantastic or DDR players who fall down.

No no no, falling down is way better. Fantastic is cool, but watching someone tripping while trying to step up is hilarious....

I was going to suggest that I could bring my Cobalt Flux, but seeing as thought Denise has you guys covered, just know tha the Cobalts are the absolute BEST home DDR platforms you can get. You guys are all in for a treat.

I was thinkin' about getting the ignition pads. They're cool. I've played on 'em before, but I really can't wait to try these ones.

    I'm working on 9's and 10's. Cartoon hero should be a 10.

OH! And if I can play afronova, you all can see my retarded jump!!

*hums let's get retarded in here*

No, Sakura should be a 9. Cartoon can stay a nine because So Deep is a nine.

Awwww man. That was awesome that DDR Extreme was free all that time.

But this really funny thing happened. My friends and I came early (we were the 2nd, 3rd and 4th guys to be in line for the event) so we got in early and my friend ran for DDR (once he got stamped). We were about....the third and fourth guys to go on and my friend plays a song on heavy....does it brilliantly.....then tripped after the song was done and he was stepping down from the platform! His ankle was gimped during the entire event.
