Hah. Ok, I've only blockaded once before, so I'm not up to par on naval combat.

It's gonna take 7.5 hrs for them to get there, damn slow boats.
It's probably a good idea to take note now what time you'll need to send pillagers so that they'll arrive about five to ten minutes after the blockade hits. The sooner you get your pillaging on, the sooner you can withdraw the blockade, which means less money spent! Also, the quicker that I get to take his resources again from the same port I took them the first time. And laugh merrily. Oh ho ho.

Just let me know if you need any resources anywhere, by the way. Since I haven't started pushing for the next palace upgrade, I've got comfortable stockpiles lying around.

Roughly 3 hours for troops to get there, so I'd have to send them at midnight. I might still be awake by then :p

Apparently, I "blackmailed" a little "foreign" "girl"...
Honestly, I feel a bit fucking dirty. All because of some cats; I don't even like cats.

I wish I could magically make this go flip flopped.
would you attack me forever if i told i don't like cats?
for the peace of the game in MY native language:
der grund warum ich katzen liebe,
ist das ich neue freunde kriege.
    und finde in nem spiel,

The target pickings are getting pretty weak around the EPA area I'm finding. To make things interesting I'm doing a triple threat; found a dude with 3 cities on one island, each with 1 ram, 6 swordsmen, 1 phalanx, a handful more army at his capital. I'm sending 3 fleets overnight to sink his rams, and tomorrow I'll hit all 3 cities at once. Or close to it, I'll have to use one further city to get the 6th action point.

    I shall break this man.

Each spy keeps a list of the espionage tasks you assign to them. Even if it tells you that the spy doesn't respond anymore, you can click the link to their succesful job, and it will show you the results it gave.

I'm heading to 5 level 20 cities. After that I'll see whether it's worth going to level 21 cities, or whether I can crack open another colony.

Well, I've successfully relocated my capital to 24:22 and within 20 minutes I will be abandoning my starting colony. It will be missed, but some casualties are to be expected. In the meantime I am looking for a wine or crystal island in the 2X:2X area. Does anyone have any suggestions?

A couple of us are on 28:23 - Crystal mine is 10, Lumber is 10

    Deadbeats make baby Jesus cry.

Especially if you have three cities on the same island. You're basically looking at a triple return from any donations you make, so why wouldn't you donate freely? It's just retarded.

Jackpot. I'm going after the level 4 port town first. They're all just far enough from me to be a bit of a hassle, but a poorly guarded leveled port is so absolutely worth it.

Yeah I don't even have a wine colony. MY men aren't drunkards. They only get what they need to quench the thirst they get from killing. They get the wine from looting the bodies of the dead.

I hate the people that don't - I'm the smallest player on my Gamma island, yet have donated over half the island resources. One particular deadbeat decided to raid me. Okay, so I do in fact need a larger military. But there is a special place in Hell for raiders who have donated a grand total of 190 wood.

If you're unable to abandon a colony because of enemy spies, try contacting the GO and see if they'll fix that for you. That's a bug in the game that they should be willing to work with you to overcome.
The other thing you could do is up the number of spies in the city, yourself. See if that gives you another opportunity to catch those enemy spies and remove them.

If this is a recurring problem, perhaps you should look look into why.
