I tried this when I got rain water in my phone... after about a day I filed a claim for a new phone. I realized it was gonna take more than a couple of days to fix and I couldn't be without my mobile for that long.

So I just got back from a university open night for visual arts... And to be honest I was surprised at the comparatively low quality of a lot of the student artworks I saw. I'm no great artist, but I'm pretty sure a lot of what I saw I've already surpassed simply being self taught.

That said, I don't know if this particular university is renown for its visual arts faculties, and they do encourage students to branch out in to new medias.

Hahaha, memories! My dad used to make me get the belt he'd beat me with. I wonder, do kids get spankings anymore? A lot of the kids I see are spoiled like hell, the could use a good spanking.

I remember one time my parents tried to tell me that I couldn't use my motorcycle when I was 17, to which I replied that the motorcycle belonged to me so they couldn't take it away.

They used to have a paddle that they'd use to spank me with when I was a kid. Before that was a wooden spoon.

    Goddamn otaku.

I think I like a wide range of musaks, save for country and whiney emo. I cannot see myself ever enjoying a song from either of those genres. Maybe xtreme hardcore death metal, too.

    Oh no! You're onto me!

It's weird but a lot of western music seems a bit off to me. Like the tempo or beat is slightly out of sync with the rhythm inside my head.

On an unrelated note, looks like after only one semester of school my biggest fear has metastasized; because of the unadmitted recession the country has fallen into, at the moment I can't secure a loan for further schooling.

    This is troubling.

    hey guess what?
to avoid further problems with room mates,
    i might be getting a condo/small house
obviously not till after september, but it's a thought i'm toying with
    suggestions?
    concerns?
some people are like "condos are hell! don't get one!" but some people are all for them so i really don't know what to think/do.

Condos- You share a wall with your neighbor. It depends on if your neighbors are crazy or not.

House- Expensive, but hey once you get it, you have a house! Of course you're going to be living in that place for a long time so its a major decision.

Dang, already able to afford a house beavo?! Well im not sure what the real estate prices are up in Canada...but still!

Well I finally found out what was causing Mango (my cat) all that pain.

I just got a phone call from the clinic, and they said the autopsy turned up what seemed to be heartworms that migrated into her brain. There is only a 1-25% chance of a cat even getting heartworms.

I've been looking into this for a while since I've been considering buying a condo or a house in a few cities now. A condo is cool since the building is managed by somebody else. You have to consider that on top of your mortgage you will have to pay condo fees. So, the price of the condo is not all that you have to consider. A house has its own problems as well. Who were the last owners? You need to ask your neighbors in both cases. If not to know your sellers then to just meet your potential new neighbours. At the end of the day, you need to be able to consider this thing as an investment. When you're done school or done with the city you should be able to sell at a profit. Or at least one would hope. Make sure that you're buying into a neighbourhood with some promise for growth. I don't know what other advice I could offer.
