Teen Titans, Grifter & Midnighter, Superman/Batman, Superman, and Y: The Last Man previews

I'm loving the art in TT. It also has Deadman, which is terrific
    I <3 Kid Devil.

    Heh. Fifty-second dimension.

    Was that Shade in there?

    And Dr. Occult!

    Dr. Occult people! C'mon!

Also, Kid Devil and Trigon connection? Page three, last panel. Now thats a striking resemblance.

New preview for New Avengers: Illuminati #1, which comes out next week:
    http://www.newsarama.com/marvelnew/Illuminati/01/Illuminati_01Pre.html

All I have to say is, if that's the way the book starts, it's going to kick so much ass. Retcons are fun, amirite? :D

I hate the whole Illuminati thing, but this does look good. I'll buy it. Plus, me and Black Bolt are going to run away together and have babies some day, so I should probably read this.

For those who haven't bothered to take a look yet at the Marvel Adventures version of the Avengers due to a kids-only vibe coming off the comic, take a look at this preview of issue #9 which involves the team fighting against MODOC and learning seeminglly the hard way that if you can't beat 'em, you might end up joining 'em.

Start buying, son. I have no idea how it works in the continuity, but First Class is one of the better series out there about the early X-Men.

Oh yeah, thanks a lot, Jeff Parker. Thanks to you, I'll be in the poor house, all because you want to write highly entertaining comic books. Did you ever, for a second, think of my poor wallet? You make me sick with anticipation of purchasing all of your awesome works. Shut up and take it like a man, wallet.

Wiki tells me that it was originally MODOC, with the C standing for "computing". He changed it himself when he overthrew the people who made him.

Wiki also reminds me that Nextwave #11 has Elvis/Modok clones.

Well, he seems to have a healthy amount of respect for Cap. Besides, Cap can seriously kick his ass.

Those previews look really good. I'm very nearly regretting my decision to hold off on ASM until the start of the next arc.

Cap would win, but it'd still be a fun fight to see. Or better yet, Punisher just walks out after Cap drops that ultimatum.
