My issue is that if you punch one god per edpisode, then when are you going to have time to punch the giant fruit fucker?

what i'm thinking is that it goes like this:

episode 1- sub bosses: slum lord and pope mime end boss: 1st god
episode 2- sub bosses: maybe charles? and some other guy end boss: 2nd god
episode 3- sub bosses: some people end boss: 3rd god
episode 4- sub bosses: some guy and 4th god final boss: fruit fucker prime

If we do end up fighting a god an episode, I'm thinking Fruit Fucker Prime will be a really hard boss, but not the last boss in the series. I'm thinking we might even destroy it in the next episode and then the plot will thicken and such.

Edit: It just occurred to me. If we do end up fighting the other 3 gods, I hope they don't recycle the whole
"bring Anne-Claire 2 items and one soul to beef up your weapons"

Though I would like to see Gabe
insert his hands into something else.

I guess the entire theme of the story is going to be somewhat Lovecraftian, so there might be other bits and pieces of Cthulu mythos popping up.

But really, other than Cthulu, is there any god from the mythos that has a particularly memorable (and consistant) form? I'm not that familiar with the other gods and creatures, but most of the artwork I've seen seems to consist of amorphous tentacles and screaming eyeballs.

That just got me imagining what it would be like if the whole thing did adhere to this so-called 'trend' of mythos, and oh the laughs that could be had.

As long as they up the difficulty in killing the final boss. Or maybe insert a difficult slider. Yog Sithis or whatever was a pushover.

since the story contains Lovecraftian things, maybe there will be a shoggoth or maybe even a hydra?

See, I told you. That's always what 95% of the other things in Lovecraftian stories look like. The rest are people who were put together from leftover seafood.

I guess it'd be either a shoggoth or a deep one (or some kind've parody of Innsmouth, where everyone is turning into Catsby's or something).

I've got an idea. Maybe the narrator is H.P. Lovecraft talking to the characters as he writes a book and controls your every move...

Should they stick with Lovecraftian gods, I imagine these might make the cut:

Cthulhu - Well, since Yog Sethis had a Cthulhoid head, maybe not, but he's so genre definitive. If not him, then...

Azothoth - Head God, looking at him drives you mad, which only lasts until he kills you. Only downside is he's blind and mindless, which sounds like comedic gold.

Shub-Niggurath - Black Goat with a Thousand Young. Fairly big in mythos cults, the thousand young part sounds like a great way to get a flood of enemies.

Nyarlathotep - God with a thousand forms, including a few human ones. Why not?

All those who actually paid attention know is that Yog-Bamoun, Yog-Sethith, etcetera killed the four gods of light(which honestly, must have been a fucking pushover, I mean, a god of kittens, a god of cream, what the fuck.) and that the narrator is Yog-Bamoun, the Nyarlothotep-Analogue, and probably one of his incarnations is Anne-Claire's "dreamy" idol, or Tycho's brother.

    Or the narrator is Nodens.

    Wait.

Maybe Nodens is an incarnation of Nyarlothotep.

Because it's been stated a few hundred times that there are going to be four episodes total, and one has already been released.

As did I. Yog is 'God', or 'infinite'. 'Bamoun' is depth, and dark meaning.

I think Tycho confirmed four eps in the MN podcast they were on.

From those papers, 'Yog Bamoun' would translate as 'Gods Below.'

Maybe 'Yog Bamoun' refers to the group of all 4 baddies together.

What if you have to fight the narrator in the very end, who's some sort of evil god that has been using you to destroy his rivals? He could attack you with exciting text panels, like PAIN! or OUCH!

Or what if you fight The Merch?

Gabe will punch....with 50 foot tall metal fists.
