I think it's pretty clear to anyone (who actually knows what they're talking about) that Detroit is easily the best team in the NHL right now.
The only time I am cheering for Pits is because I'd like to see the series go longer so there is more hockey to watch, but they don't have a chance against the wings.
If only the poor poor Canucks could scout as well as Detroit

the last couple seasons Detroit has choked, they almost choked to nashville, almost lost to dallas when dallas had nothing in the tanks.
if detroit scores the go ahead goal they just sit back with 4 guys in the neutral zone and play the trap, it is the most frustrating style in hockey. that shit is so boring to watch. they are the fucking spurs of the nhl.
i bet if the sharks beat dallas then sharks would be in the finals right now instead.
there hasn't really been a force in the nhl in a long time, teams are so streaky that it changes year to year.

Did you even watch the game last night??? For the entire 3rd period until Pittsburg pulled their goalie, Detroit was forechecking the shit out of the Penguins. They couldnt move the puck at all because there were always at least one Red Wing pressuring them in their zone. They were forcing the Penguins to turn the puck over at mid-ice constantly because of their aggresiveness. The only reason they didnt win it outright last night was because of Fleury.
