What could possibly demoralize Wolverine to such a degree, and who is the mysterious President?
It's supposed to be the same someone being built up in 1985 and Fantastic Four (and supposedly mentioned in Kick-Ass) as Doom's mentor.

Better be Norman "naked dictation" Osborn. He ran on the "smells like death, blondes and victory" platform.

Why someone hasn't photoshopped a naked Osborn in the Oval Office yet befuddles me.

Well, he was president in Earth X, so I don't know if he's going to be in this. Plus, he's got a city named after him in the part of the country between Doom's Lair and the President's Quarter.

I completely missed that on the map. Like Owenashi said, it's probably going to end up being or related to theat Wyncham fellow from 1985 and the other Millar One Man Events.

My MotW is between Wolverine and Criminal Vol 2 #3 (which is now the Requiem for a Dream of comics for me - great issue that I never want to read again. Jesus Christ, Brubaker!).

Scalped, Guardians of the Galaxy, and DMZ were good as well.

Highlights of the week for me were Guardians of the Galaxy, Increidble Hercules and Old Man Logan.

Secret Invasion FF4 got better and I liked this week's Spiderman Issue, mainly because I like the Enforcers.

I'm a sucker for happy moments. Especially when a team has been through a crappy time, so Jaime revealing Teresa's pregnancy to the team made me smile :)

But my favourite part? "...3...2...1...NEVER FORGET..." *boom!*

Fantastic issue. I just really, really wish it had ended on the Never Forget bit. The actual ending was such a downer.

Also ditto to everything everyone said about Catwoman, Herc and TTY1. And while Kill All Parents was a fun read I now fervently wish I'd picked up Old Man Logan instead. Dammit.

I picked up Fables: The Good Prince today since I couldn't find the last volume of Y, and it was probably the best trade of Fables I've ever read. God damn.

Hell yeah, especially after seeing the main character's tragic background.

Just like the trade/arc dedicated to
    Boy Blue
    . That was awesome.

I didn't really care for Jack's arc, though. It was okay, but I prefer the main stuff with Bigby, the Prince, Snow, etc.

Well she's been in charge of Lexcorp ever since Talia Al Ghul went nuts and gave up the position. She's TRYING to make it into a legitimate company and was actually making some headway with those special cameras that could track Superman for news coverage and such. I have no idea why she would turn heel though.

Angel was pretty awesome this week.
"We picked the lord most likely to sell everyone else out."

    "You went with the Loan-Shark."

"Man's career path is based on a pun, can't be too much inner pride."

Also, Wesley trying to summon Cordelia and her being completely unable to help since they're in hell was pretty neat. And Fred's soul not being, you know, completely annihilated is hope-y. Also Angel exploding all the lords. Classy.

I liked this week's Spiderman Issue, mainly because I like the Enforcers.

Uggh. Spider-Man was terrible this week. The entire issue was a thinly veiled anti-smoking, gambling, and drinking PSA.

They really need to get rid of Gale.

He probably suggested it and Gale took it and ran with it.

I understand not portraying smoking in the comics read by a youngert audience... but don't beat the readership over the head with it.

Was it really that bad? I havent been to the shop this week but I thought last week's issue with the fake Spider-Man was pretty good and 8 million times better than any Gale issue before.

I was hoping it meant he was improving
