    Ultimate Fantastic Four
    Marvel Zombies
Marvel Zombies v.s. Army of Darkness*
    Marvel Zombies: Dead Days*
    Marvel Zombies 2

*These are both prequels, so in the timeline they would come first.

I assumed he just wanted the Marvel Zombies story, and AoD isn't really part of that
    And I forgot about UFF

    Chronologically:
    1) Marvel Zombies: Dead Days and Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness are supposed to take place at the same time. These tell the origin of the zombies.

    2) Marvel Zombies - main story

    3) Marvel Zombies 2 - forty years in the future

However, 1) should really be read as "prequels", after reading Marvel Zombies.

    So recommended reading order:
    Marvel Zombies
    Marvel Zombies: Dead Days
Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness
    Marvel Zombies 2

Ah, it's be redundant to buy the relevant UFF arc then.

Marvel wouldn't cancel all the Ultimate titles since Ultimates by itself continues to sell ridiculous numbers no matter the quality and they wouldn't want to piss off Bendis by canceling Ultimate Spider-Man, especially when it is still as good as it is.

Then why are people saying the Ultimate line is going to be canceled?

Maybe it will be some kind of soft reboot or something. I have no idea and I must say I really don't care. I tried all of the Ultimate titles several years ago and decided that weren't for me.

I didn't think it was part of the main story as much as it was just Ash getting into trouble again

Well it's in continuity according to the writers themselves.

Thanks for your help but I thought there were five books in the series. Also, Msrvel Zombies Vs. Army of Darkness is a side story. It does affect the main character but is not part of the main storyline.

Probably because Lying in the Gutters said so, despite the fact the link he provided for his "source" has the guy say they aren't even cancelling it.

Speaking of UFF, has it been any good the past year or so? I stopped reading after Mark Millar and Ellis left. And I couldn't get into the few Carey issues I've sampled.

I don't follow X-Factor, so I just found this out:
Siryn is pregnant with Madrox's child?

    Fuck that shit.

Wade Wilson + Theresa Cassidy 4 Ever, as far as I'm concerned.

    Ok here's a followup question:

Why is Marvel ending the entire Ultimates line of comics? I thought that, in general, the Ultimate brand was a fairly popular line?

they arent really ending the Ultimate line

although one of the books might be ending

I think UFF sells the worst

although Ultimate X-Men is the one that needs to go

or at the very least needs some kind of drastic reset in the worst way

The new UXM guy has been great. It could just be how bad Kirkman was in comparison making it seem so much better though, but I've really enjoyed the first two issues of his run.

So I just finished the Iron Man Director of SHIELD trade today and I saw that IM # 19 and 20 are World War Hulk tie-ins, which I was thinking about reading anyway.

    1) I was probably going to pick up Planet Hulk. Should I bother picking up the Prelude?

    2) Can I pick up IM # 19 and 20 as part of some kind of trade or will I have to buy them individually?

    3) What other WWHulk tie-ins are worth picking up?

World War Hulk: X-Men is the best World War Hulk tie-in, and no, you don't need the Planet Hulk prelude.

I found $60 under my bed and $15-18 of that is being saved for Batman and Son next week.

I'm getting watchmen, and probably the vol10 trade of 100 bullets unless you all convince me of something otherwise.

Sandman isn't expensive unless you're buying the Absolutes. It should be like $10 on Amazon, probably cheaper on eBay for the trades.

It's pretty hard to tell you what to buy though with so little to work with. Watchman and 100 Bullets seem like good purchases. Don't think you need convincing otherwise.
