Basically Daredevil / Matt Murdock has been in a really dark place ever since he got out of prison. Its just been one thing after another. He is so freakin' mean to criminals right now. There was a scene recently where Luke Cage confronted Matt and basically told him that he's gonna end up killing someone if he doesn't reign it in a bit. Matt's reaction was to punch Cage and storm off.
Brubaker has introduced a cool new character into the DD franchise also: Dakota. She's the private investigator that Nelson and Murdock have been using in their law firm. She's really good at digging shit up on people and has made the law/crime side of things much more interesting.

She's an old character that used to have her own series in the 80s. She's pretty much what she was back then, a freelance private investigator.

Hmm. Maybe she's really old. She hasn't been in any of the books since Kevin Smith's relaunch. I have not read every DD issue ever so obviously I could just not have known about her. But she's new within the relaunch.
She's also not featured in any of the side stories such as DD Yellow, or FM's Man Without Fear, or JQ's Father. I just figured she was new.
I've said it before I'm not a big fan of team books
Yes I know FF is more family than team
But they're still not at the top of my list of Marvel love. That goes to Spidey and Moon Knight
and I dont know about a black ops one, but they recently announced another House of M mini that will show how Magneto won the war and came to power
hey, you were right, i like this mini more than i liked the original house of m storyline. i want more of those guys, actually, because it was such a cool line-up: cage, iron fist, hawkeye, mockingbird, both moon AND misty knight... if they could jam in daredevil and keep frank castle around, i'd never have to read another comic book.
