My question is, what is the point of trying to make us think it's Riddler? What is the point of a red herring like that, if it is Cluemaster? A splash page where he takes off his mask and goes, "Surprise! I'm not Riddler! I'm a Robin villain." That doesn't really change the game either way, does it?
I don't think its the Riddler, for a couple reasons. One, as someone stated earlier, his new role as a rival detective in Detective Comics is much too interesting to throw away at this point.
Also, Riddler was already the focal point of a huge reveal in another major Batman event a few years back (Hush) and it seems rather copy-cattish to use him again in that capacity. It really needs to be someone else just so it isn't the same old shtick as Hush.
Meanwhile, Sonar and two of his underlings, Throttle and Blindside, meet up with another esteemed super-villain – Doctor Polaris. Polaris is flanked by three of his own associates; Whiteout, Dropded and Polestar. Polaris suggests forming an alliance with Sonar and his crew in an effort to destroy the Green Lantern Corps. Sonar agrees to the plan.

Well if anyone's interested, I found the answer: Blindside, Throttle and Whiteout, obscure Green Lantern Corps villains.
Weren't those three villains just illusions created by Dr. Ub'x? (uhh maybe? been awhile since i read those...)
They show up in Green Lantern Corps 201
