So what the hell? My girlfriend's friend was all like, "Oh I have the first two seasons of this show, you would like it"

So I started watching it and of course I become addicted. I can't get enough. I'm fucking marathoning through each season.

Then I get done with Season 2, so I take it upon myself to order Season 3 on ebay since I don't know anyone that has it.

Oh gosh season 3 is so good, oh what's that? ends in a cliff hanger after the season was shortened two episodes? What is this shit? I want to know what happens. I want Veronica and Logan to wind up together, I want them to take down the shadowy organization led by Jake Kane.

And then I find out the show was canceled last year? This is awful news. I am genuinely bothered by this now.

So we should talk about this show that everyone else was talking about like 2 years ago.

Dammit.

I'm so mad.

    It was a decent show to watch one time through. I don't think I'd watch it again, though.

    My favorite parts were Logan basically losing his shit and nearly killing someone every time someone screwed Veronica over.

    I tried to get a friend to watch this and he's like "it's a girl detective show? I've been burned by those before"

    and I tried to tell him that this wasn't like those shows but then I realized that I had no idea what he was talking about

    the third season suffered from the CW trying to make it more popular, but the last four or five episodes starting with paul rudd's guest appearance were pretty great

    It's been years since I've seen Waterworld and I never saw Napoleon.

    and yes Paul Rudd's episode was great. I was all giddy when I saw him. But who isn't?

    The only problem I had with the character of Dick was (season 2 ending spoilers)
    Him going all wacky sarcastic party guy to BOO HOO MY BROTHER IS DEAD AND I WAS AN ASSHOLE TO HIM I FEEL SO BAD

    I wouldn't have minded if there was any warning beforehand that he was having problems, I guess

    but the couple times that it happened were just out of the blue

    Geebs sent the first season of this show to me and then I got addicted and Mori bought me the second and third seasons and then he got addicted too

    Was it ever explained why he showed up at Logan's apartment early in season 3 all beaten and bruised, saying he screwed up?

    also I would've liked to learn more about Sherrif Lamb (season 3 spoilers)

    He had just become a semi-sympathetic character, at least - when you find out he was abused as a child like that one girl's sister was

    season three isn't as good as the first two seasons, although it has some pretty impressive moments

    there was a lull after the first storyarc mystery got solved though that really continued up until right near the end

    The episode with Dan Castlanetta has a special place in my heart, though. I love that guy.

    Same thing when he was on Arrested Development.

    Logan kept making this weird face in the series that I guess was supposed to mean that he was sad but really he just looked like a retarded dog.

    I enjoyed when Logan flipped out on people but by the end the only thing that seemed to drive his character at all was 'oh man i am so sad that veronica left me i'm going to mope lots and look weird'

    I always feel bad for the guy that played Duncan

    because his name is Teddy

    and the only person deserving of that name is Teddy Fucking Roosevelt.
