I don't have any real details. I know he just got the motorcycle a few months ago or so, but I don't know how long he had been riding before that. His official funeral is going to be in Newfoundland, but Sarah said they're going to try to organize a memorial up in Vancouver and I know that at least Naporeon and myself are going to go up for it whenever it is, I'll keep people posted.
He was without a doubt one of the coolest people I've met in a long time, not just out of forumers either, like out of everyone.
Zonky was a great man and I had many a fun game with him over Live. Many people knew this man either in person or over the forums.
I vote for setting up a fund/pool in which people can contribute to send flowers or something to express the condolences of this forum. He was a good man in life and he should be honored as such in death.

May I suggest that rather than condolences and shock we use this thread to remember him and the things he did. I think it's a better use.

When I first met Tonkman it was after a road trip up to Vancouver with Neville and Nap. We pulled up, and he met us outside. We all crashed in his living room for two nights and we just partied it up and had a great time. At the time I wasn't on good terms with my family, and somehow that came up in conversation and he invited me to go with him to Newfoundland to see his family with him for Christmas. That totally just blew me away, and I never forgot that. I don't know if he ever really knew how much that little gesture meant to me as a friend, but I think even if I had told him he would have just smiled and brushed it off like it was no big deal because it really wasn't to him. Being an incredible person just came naturally to him.
