No. Actual Space Marines standing on real bears, standing on real sharks. Do I need a flow chart?

I did this at work and with MS paint. I don't want any lip about scale.

Man, if I ever make a Space Marine army(perish the thought), it'll have nothing but bikers and they'll all be riding bears. Maybe a giant bear as a Land Raider. Flying sharks as Land Speeders.

We need a new thread soon. May I suggest the title be: Warhammer 40k 5th Edition: We got Marines riding Bears, riding Sharks!

    Or something along those lines.

    I've begun the search!

Found a couple of Shark posibilites at Target.com. I'll hit up a store tomorrow and check scale and see if there are any bears as well.

I will totally trade my termie for a nob.

I am also waiting to see which WD ends up with Gamesday Baltimore 08 coverage, just because I really want to see if my gargant made it in as an honorable mention.

I'm content. The last two, or even three threads all ended in flurries of flaming stupidity. This one is wrapping up in a much more satisfactory manner.

    Oi, you gits!

So Bolter and Chainsword did a 5th edition primer, and how the new rules will change each army. It's a wicked awesome document, with some kick ass art work.

    http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.php?showtopic=140316

Do yourself a favor, and go read it. It's fairly impressive, and well written.

I know Necron are going to have the most painful period they've ever had until a new codex comes riding to the rescue, I was meaning more as to where the thing came from in general. It's a great model, makes me wish I had one around here so I could make my own :p

Well, at the risk of ruining the good end this thread is about end on, an honest question: why are necrons so much worse now? I would have thought between the much tougher monolith, the fact enemies can't keep following up into new squads of 'crons, and rock hard objective takers they would be doing quiet well in 5th. Is it just fact that it's much harder to kill with glances?
