It matters because at the end of the week I'm going to audit that stuff and poke a few people who might be forgetting before I try calling down the thunder vis a vis other options. I really don't want anybody left out in the cold.

No, it's more important for the forum regulars. In any case don't worry about it.

hmmm... looks like i better sign up to this party.

how many people have signed up so far? it doesn't say anything in the OP, and i'm too lazy right now to go through all the posts to get an estimate headcount (but maybe i'll do it later)

Edit: so I got bored and counted all of them. I'd say somewhere in the neighborhood of 40? but more people could just be lurking. :/

Very astute tr0tsky - we've got 60 registrants (about 30% of our total ticket sales) so far. On a side note, your name really makes me miss...

Will people be in Cosplay costumes for this event? Cause if we can go, we will be. :D

Do it whytmage! It's going to be worth it. They have some devs coming to the event and such, it's going to be really neat! Go for it! =)

Hmm... hopefully the registration will pickup as we get closer, we've got to hit that 200 number people! And every person that we get over 200 is getting their proceeds put into Child's Play! This is a great thing! Tell/bring your friends! =)

Add two more to the list. The SO and I will be there*.

*Even if one or both of us can't make it, it's worth the donation.

((I wonder if this is Tax Deductible..... hmmm))

Unfortunately, since we're not a 501(c)(3), donations are not tax deductible :(. You would have to donate directly to Childs Play to get the 501(c)(3) deduction for taxes. Robert, is that correct? Any donations we have above and beyond what's required to just operate the dinner will go directly to Childs Play though. I love it when our community gives back! :)

I would have no problem at all with cosplay, I myself am going to be wearing either this or this depending on my mood that night. Granted I'm just eccentric.
