    Apparently, if you plug a regular network cable into one of those cisco serial port thingees and plug the other end into a live data point you get erratic behaviour and sit there for 15 minutes starting and restarting the device before you solve the issue.

    My mum is pissed off that I won't help her with my Dad's pet project, cleaning 150 roof slates so that my Dad can put a new roof on the porch before Sunday and my bro gets back from Tokyo for his viva.

    Just a tad? I think so.

    That said how come no one's made a laptop that's just a stack of those super thin LCD panels that fold out to give you a larger screen.

    Now that I have a job I'm in the market for a new desktop. My friend's 8-year-old rig with the 30GB hard drive just isn't cutting it.

    And then I have 2 weeks before school

    And I can't really bring my Xbox to school because I will fail school or something... will I?

    I did not have any videogames but my DS with me for the last 2 years of school, and I don't know if I really would have had time for them.

    But man, I am so far behind on games, like, years behind, and I wanna play them. I don't know what I oughta do.

    I had my 360 and DS with me in school last year, and managed to complete just Gears of War, Half-Life 2, and the first section of the New Super Mario Bros. I'll bring them with me again this year, but I doubt they'll get much use (besides the 360 as a DVD player).
