Why is no one talking about the new Avatar - The Last Airbender episodes that have started/will start airing today? According to tv.com, Nickelodeon will show one episode a day, finishing the entire season in only a few weeks. Thursday will have an entirely never-before-seen episode; one that hasn't been aired in Canada or released on DVD.
Someone should unearth the avatar thread.

I love rewriting my school notes. When I'm writing in school, my notes are usually scribbles and take up a lot of space, but when I rewrite them I can learn them and make them legible

So... what's so good about Avatar? I know I asked it before, but I... kinda forgot?
You silly man. It has superior animation to most cartoons. It has an epic long-spanning story that actually goes somewhere. They put effort in the show, basing their bending-art on real martial arts. It's really fun; they never forget to make it fun. It has a lot of lovable characters with real depth.
You know, I'll stop right there. The list goes on and on. It takes less effort for you to just watch a few episodes than for me to dissect what makes Avatar awesome.
And it only has a handful of filler episodes despite being an anime-style.
It's a world that's vaguely feudal japanish. there's 4 nation each centered around an element(air, fire, earth and water). Within each group there's people who can "bend" that element to their will. Each generation there's also a single avatar who is able to bend all 4 elements.
The fire people wage a war, the avatar vanishes for 100 years and returns in the form of a young Airbender kid Aang. He has to learn all the elements in order to fight the Fire Nation.
added spoilers but it's nothing you can't learn from watching the opening credits

Will watch after lunch.

If the dell has HDMI, your golden, if not, you need the 360 to vga cable, sold at any major game retailer.
Regarding sound, just get some red/white rca input to 3.5mm and plug up headphones/speakers, radio shack will hook you up there.

Well played.
OH GODS YES
Pretty much everything about Avatar is good. Its only real flaw is that it plays on Nickelodeon.

Where are you? Should we be planning an orgy soon, or something?
Do the top 40 stations think that we're only capable of keeping at most 5 songs in our attention span in any given period?
*slaps*
go watch now!
my opinion is greater than Quids
Opinion, eh?

e: saw your edit.
Really? I mean, it's pretty much all you can ask for from a kid's show.
Ask the munchkin?
