he's venom with the colors reversed, and he looks really skinny in the preview art i have seen. Also, it has been said the character is related to someone somehow. (yeah, i know, not very informative)
Apparently the Marvel Zombies are invading 616, from the looks of the solicits, as Incredible Herc has a Zombie variant cover. That and the Marvel Zombies Vol. 3 solicit specifically says it's in continuity.
But what am I looking forward to the most?
X-Men: Manifest Destiny. Because the solicit just confirmed that Nextwave was canon, and that Tabitha's back! Yay kleptomania!

Well, even though she is "back", just regaining her pieces or whatever, the girl on the cover is clearly not her. At least I think. The eyes look black, but they could be green. Could it be Madelyn Pryor?
If I remember correctly, the Phoenix was shattered into pieces so the Shi'ar could kill her for good. Phoenix goes kinda crazy, nearly kills the X-Men, then saves them from a huge lazer from the Shi'ar. So, she went back to the White Hot Room to regain her missing pieces.

Jean regains control and transcends into the White Phoenix of the Crown in time to save the team from another black hole created by the Shi’ar. Before she departs, Jean asks Scott to remove his visor because she wants to see his eyes. Enveloped in his optic blast, she leaves for the White Hot Room to gather the missing pieces of herself, giving Scott one last goodbye.

I wish Jean could become a big player again. They'd just have to tone down her powers somehow, and keep it that way. Not tone down her powers, and then goes all fiery for some deus ex fun every time they need her to. I really like her as a character. =\
