Marty: The future, it's where you're going? Doc: That's right, twenty five years into the future. I've always dreamed on seeing the future, looking beyond my years, seeing the progress of mankind. I'll also be able to see who wins the next twenty-five world series.
I thought I was having cookie issues.
I would to G&T, go to H&R, come back to the on-topic forums and it looked like there were no new posts, but there were.
I was about to pm alpha, good thing I read this thread.
Yeah, I've got the same problem. Switching between forums clears new posts notifications. It's pretty irritating.
Oh good, so it's not just me then. Do you guys get that weird rash up the inside of your thigh as well?
Im fixing it, the cookie will be set at the domain level, and the link will append your SID.

But that's life. A mod can't be on all the time. There will be gaps in coverage (even if there are a ridiculous number of mods, most of them mods that do very little, such as in H&R).
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, you used to bitch all the time that the other SE mods did too much, and now you say we do too little?
Seriously, what can I do to please you? Because apparently everyone else is dead wrong.
My God, he flip flops.
The only idea I ever had to pertain to this subject was to allow the on-topic mods to be deputies in the off-topic area, and vice versa. But we pass up that idea.
The way things are now, with on-topic mods able to back up in H&R if need be fits the system fine, IMO.

The arrow to move to H&R doesn't work anymore, if that wasn't intentional. The arrow to go from there to here still works, though.
Ecoterrorism is actually the single largest terrorist threat at the moment. They don't usually kill people, but they blow up or set on fire very expensive things.

You can't please me at all, homp.
No, it fluctuates. Sometimes it seems that every thread on the front page is locked and there are a hojillion mods over-modding the place, locking too much. Then other times there are no mods in sight. Right now we are in a "no mods in sight and mods not doing squat" kind of period. It goes in streaks. There's anything you can do about it and you're not a bad mod because of it, that's just how the current system setup makes things work.

No, alpha was on fall break. I have no idea why the preview got fucked up, and the sessions still wont sync. I'm looking into it, but I wouldn't expect a fix before Wednesday.

would it be possible in the interim to unsplit the session, I don't mind having a session on each side, but the inability to see new posts on both sides is a real pain in the ass

He's lying.
Excuse me?
Edit: Actually, it looks like it's on every page.
It works now.
