should I be uncomfortable they're turning pepper and tony into a thing
tony's never supposed to bang her
like ever
it's like wolverine doin' jean grey
it's just one of those intrinsic character things
she's always supposed to be the one that got away, the woman he can never have and accepts that and blah blah blah
it was a very relatable character trait for me
especially after she married happy hogan
but now that they killed him off
still though it just weirds me out
I feel kind of the same about the fact that Tony now has superpowers beyond wearing his suit. I mean, the whole point was kind of the fact that he was a "normal" human who relied on technology to become a hero.
That said, I actually really enjoyed Extremis and what has come out of it, but I can't shake the fact that it seems fundamentally wrong for the character.

I'm not sure they are becoming a thing. If anything, the issue highlights some pretty fundamental issues Pepper has with Tony. Yes I know their holding hands while she floats off the floor looks very romantic, but Maria butting in served to highlight how different what she saw was from what happened. At the end of the day, Pepper sees Tony as a weapon, and she is not 100% okay with that.
I kinda like the Pepper thing
Because I read it as her acknowledging that he loves her, and not reciprocating those feelings at all
You think the husband Tony euphenaised for her would be a bit of an enormous elephant in the room though wouldn't you. Unless what happened to Happy was another one of those Spider Man vs Crimson Dynamo fiasco (was it crimson dynamo or titanium man? i can't remember)

Personally I'm still hoping she'll end up with Henry Hellrung from The Order. And since Henry felt more than a little guilty at entertaining naughty thoughts about a very recently widowed woman, and he was written by Fraction, I sincerely doubt the whole (un?)Happy issue will be ignored for long.

I'd say that Tony getting angry at Hill for using the term "girlfriend" for Pepper is a pretty good indicator that he's at least trying not to turn it into a relationship, too.
Agent Brand. She's an agent of SWORD which is some sort of top secret organization that keeps tabs on universal politics. They're like super spys in space.
She interferes several times in the Astonishing story because the rest of the universe perceives Colossus as a threat, and so she sees it as her duty to correct the problem.

Her current status is
in space, with very little oxygen left
Didn't she actually manage to get into a skrull ship in the latest SI?

I would find it hilarious if the first thing Jean does after she comes back to life is bone Logan. Just to stick it to Scott. I am mean.

Astonishing X-Men Trade #4 spoilers:
And then later...
Astonishing X-Men has been, like, my moment of the past couple years.
Beast's "wut" expression in panel three is pretty priceless.
But who is that chick?

I can see jean and logan doing the "together but really can't stay together" tango. Sort of just drifting together and then drifting apart.
Especially since Logan is pretty much the only person guarunteed to be there every time she dies and ressurects again.
Seconded.
Say, does Beast sweat anymore, or does he have to thermoregulate by breathing?
It won't be ruined.
Seeing Beast trying to wrap his head around what exactly just happend would fill me with glee for years to come.
And Agent Brand being deadpan and exactly the same.
