Personally, I like the differences between Autobot and Decepticon being mainly political, rather than an actual "racial" divide. It just makes things more interesting to me if someone chooses to be a Decepticon instead of being built to be one.

I read on the TF wiki that all of the different continuities are theoretically connected through Primus and Unicron. As in a Primus exists in some form in every universe simultaneously and Unicron is one being that travels through different realities one at a time, but it's always the same guy.

And that's kinda cool.
It's kinda retarded and only served to allow for lame fanwanks and puerile writer fetishes; like G1 Galavatron, Bludgeon, Dirge and Scourge showing up in the Armada comic book and fighting the Armada characters.
Also it got retconned with the current IDW continuity, wherein it's been said multiple times by the creators that Unicron does not exist. Plus the Movie and Animated continuities seem to be Unicron/Primus free as well.

I personally like the concept. Any idea, if treated poorly, can easily allow for "fanwanks" as you call them, Scottsman. It's not like we're dealing with classic literature here. It's friggin' sentient transforming alien robots. A bit of outlandishness is fine and can be fun.

And I'm sure this goes without saying, but I really, really hope they make an Omega Supreme toy.

If you were not yet aware, Shia LaBouf and a co-star (I forget which) got into a car accident like a week ago. He wasn't at fault but was found to be intoxicated above the legal limit. So he might face some sort of court charge.
But that isn't the thing I'm worried about, because since when has intoxication charges stopped a Hollywood star. No, see, Shia got his hand injured in the crash and now there's rumors that he might have to get a finger amputated.
See, that is the kind of stuff that can stop a Hollywood star. And what the hell's it going to do to TF2?

A missing finger isn't really that big a deal these days. If Shia's acting is as good as some of us want him to be, he'll keep making movies and this won't hold him back much.
John Rhys-Davies doesn't have all his fingers, but did you really notice?
Hell, they could just throw in a scene partway into the film where Sam loses a finger, like the wampa scene in Empire Strikes Back that was included when Mark Hamill got his face messed up in an accident.
Correction; he isn't missing the whole finger, just everything above the top knuckle on the left-hand middle finger.
edit: Funny story; Peter Jackson didn't know that Rhys-Davies had a fake fingertip, and one day the guy comes up to him and tears it off right in front of him. It was pretty well made, fake tissue and what looked like blood and everything. Jackson passed out right there in front of him.
They quickly explained to him that it was only a joke, after waking him up.
What I'm a little surprised about is that Paramount/Bay/someone has gone through a little Soviet-style editing of history, taking out some references from interviews with Chris Mowry and Simon Furman:
specifically refs to Arcee, The Fallen (as in The Fallen, not the Fallen), and Chris Mowry having a script for the movie. Bay has said there's only, like, three scripts or something.
more importantly i still havent seen a grimlock in the store yet.
Ha, sucker!
I got one and he's pretty cool.
Talking to the local game store worker he was all "yeah my friend got two, one at wal mart and k-mart/toys r us" and my mind was just screaming "fucker probably sold it on ebay harglgehge"
I got Snarl. He's fun, but a little hard to transform. The only thing is that his club is not black with orange, but solid orange and it looks like he's going to beat you with a Cheeto. On second thought, the Cheeto club is cooler.
Posts
And that's kinda cool.
I can't afford either of them and don't really know if I want either of them anyway, but they are available.

Know what else is cool? Interdimensional taverns.
there is so much bizarre shit in the transformers universe I swear to god
Also, WHY CAN'T WE HAVE THESE!??!? http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Transtech Goddamn Hasbro, I could have gone without Side Burn and Ultra Magnus for that Immorticon and Starscream. We also might have even avoided the Unicron Trilogy fiasco if these were made.

further edit: Learn to refresh more, DP.
I can't remember hardly ever seeing his hands on-screen in anything he's been in, to be honest.
But while we're being honest, one doesn't play the young protagonist heart throb and one does.
EDIT: Missing part of one digit is different from missing a whole digit.
