Luckily, emotes are just fluff and ultimately inconsequential when there's real content to do.
Choice is always good. Emotes could be used ironically. Dancing was fine. There is rarely any point excluding random flavour from the game when it could be included. One thing WoW never really did realise is that players love customization. Why do you think the rarer pets etc. were so popular?
People like to stand out.
/farmed a black whelpling for myself (for an alt I then never used )
//also farmed an emerald whelpling for my ex-gf with a bot in the area.
Warhammer doesn't really support that kind of random flavor though. I don't think British people dance at all, just make snarky comments or puns or thrash about on the ground.
Well, I finally get home and get ready to enter my Codes and stuff.... and the Account Management thing is on the fritz.
"There was an error processing your request."
I'll show you an error! WAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH!!!
EDIT: oooo... nice Cold One in that IGN vid though.
I had the same problem wait a few minutes then go to the account mainpage and see if it actually put them through. Both mine went through despite it saying there was an error
Yea, I did that a few days ago. Sorry to hear of another person in the same boat I'm in. Good luck getting the open beta box.
Once you get it follow the instructions on the card to set up an account. Who knows, maybe you will be in the top 50k and get into the headstart or OB or whatever.
Edit: Sorry for the horrible top of a page, someone post something more positive.

Yeah, it looks like the first one did go through.
So I am all set up now.
WoW will put in one of their pre-painted miniature table top figures along with the manual on how to play. And then only the nerdyest, most loyal, paint covered waaaaghers will continue to buy GW's overpriced gray plastic things.

Prepainted figures are shit. Always. Every time.
And you can't even paint them properly, because they have no detail.

The beta doesn't seem to be well communicated, or I'm missing something. Is there a link somewhere to the beta forums? Are we able to get into the forums, being part of the CE beta?
Just looking to find some info about the login process and all.
As others have said no problem entering in my Key's. Does CE have separate keys for Head start and Items? I have SE obviously and my second key unlocked both Head Start and Preorder bonuses.

That doesn't matter at all, plus these actually look better than most.
What matters is the fact that more people would be willing to play table top games if they didn't have to spend tons of money AND time painting them. Look at how big Heroclix was and those figures are some of the worst pre-paints I've ever seen.

People in the CE beta do not have access to the beta forums.
Ok, I wasn't sure.
Then is the game just down right now? Really, the info seems to be non-existent. :P
I try to log in, after three attempts it says "You have exceeeded the maximum number of login attempts for this session. If you have forgotten your password, please contact customer support for assistance."

More to the point many of those Heroclix's were just simply ugly as sin, the bad coloring was just one more thing.

It's more the cost, I think. The threat of spending $texas on an army, only to find out it sucks balls? No thanks. :P
Have to spend time painting them? You get to. That's half the hobby.
I'm being a pedant though; I actually do understand the appeal, at least objectively. I just think they're crap and miss half the interesting part. Finishing an army is a hell of an achievement, even it takes 10+ years (like my skaven).
A Warhammer army costs as much as like 3-5 video games. I have models I've been using for upwards of twelve or thirteen years now. Doesn't mean it's for everyone, but it's not really that expensive.

And that's what dyes and trophies are for.
Best sleepless night of gaming in a long while, btw....
Not this... some other game. :winky:
We don't respect the enemy.
We ensure the enemy isn't ALIVE enough to worry about /nodding or /saluting to.
You kill them, and then you start worrying about who's next to kill.
That is all.
Really?
What am I going to do when i'm in the midst of all the TSM corpses?
Jump up and down like a silly bastard?

I pre-ordered the CE in full at my local Gamestop a month or two ago.
What do I do now to play Beta
Gamestop messed up and did not give the CE people the CE rave card. So you can get into open beta if you can get a pre-order box.

Gamestop Preorder
Woo.
Wake up from your dreaming, cuz you're in fantasy land.:P
Account. I have the other two codes in but I don't have a store before my pre-order one.
Yeah, it'll be ME standing in the TSM corpses. You'll have forgotten what you were doing and run off after a butterfly, sushi.
Now looking at the CE box and all at the site, man it's one sweet CE indeed.
Blizzard is going to have do a lot to top that one.
At least that's my wild and baseless assumption.
I like both.
Never underestimate people wanting the CE for all the goodies.
Like me, I plan to get them all.

Prepainted minis look like crap.
