Hi all,
I've been reading these forums for a while now, but this is my first post. I'm looking for criticism on the comics I've been drawing. As I'm sure you can tell from the drawing, I'm quite new at this "art" thing.

    Well, Mr Pi-r8, I believe the animosity stems from the fact that on your very first post on these boards, you put a link to your website. That is generally construed as "site-whoring" round these parts.

    Now, if you just posted art and asked for help on said pieces, then that's generally not considered a bad thing, even if there's a big ol ad in your sig for your website that you do not mention.

    If, you did in fact lurk, you would know these things quite well seeing how this happens about once a week.

    Plus, they're broken images for me.

    I draw comics to make people suffer.

    Anyways, don't get discouraged, just go get some more practice under your belt. Then post some more stuff.

    It's tough putting yourself out there as an artist, but you'll find in terms of art brutal honesty is the best form of honesty. You don't improve with pats on the back. I just made that up on the spot. Go ahead and use it.
