I am embarrased to ask this... but I must!

Do we get a ticket in the mail eventually or is our identity checked at the dinner against a list?

I registered a long long time ago and I have not received anything in the mail for the dinner.

Or maybe there was something I was supposed to print out? I didn't have a printer back when
    I registered.

It's a paperless registration (well.. almost). Basically, you show up and we check your name against the RSVP list that the pre-reg system generates. If you like, you can certainly print out and bring along the confirmation that was emailed to you when you first registered, but that's optional. You won't get anything in the mail though... I'm not stuffing any pre-reg baggies until I have a hoard of Enforcers to help me with that task ;)

    [Looks in work email box.]

    [Finds email.]

    [Feels stupid.]

    [Prints email.]

For other people like me, the email subject is "Order Confirmation for Pre-PAX 2008 Dinner" and the email has
a Metroid Prime Glyph in it.

Astayonix is the one watching the count, but I can say that I've been talking to Chris Taylor and he's going to see if he can make a last minute announcement and/or press release about the dinner on the GPG website. VT's working behind the scenes to maybe, hopefully get something similar from Bioware but nothing has been heard back yet.

Aye, BioWare's been maintaining radio silence thus far. Hopefully I didn't scare them away with all the stuff I've been messaging them about (going a day early, the Assassins game, all that jazz). =) I think I may have frightened them into hiding. =( ;)

Hehehe! :) That would have been cute! Unfortunately, the buttons cost $$, and that would have been $$ we would have had to pass on to the diners, so we thought about it, but we couldn't justify it cost-wise.

well it wouldn't have been from part of the dinner cost, somebody could have just made one as a bonus or something. Oh well

In other news, I stepped out of work to grab a rice bowl lunch from the nearby Safeway. Came with a fortune cookie. When I opened it up, it said:

EDIT: Okay, I Twittered her! I don't know what the odds are that she'd answer... I hope she will though! =) I'll cover her ticket if need be, I can scrap up a few bucks to buy one more. =)

I hope she doesn't think I'm a creepy stalker or something. You can only be so tactful with 60 characters of text. =)

Also, I think it's neat how Twitter automatically converts urls into TinyURL. That's a neat synergy. =)
