The Rock vs Con Air

MicroMicro Registered User regular
edited August 2008 in Social Entropy++
Now, I've been on here a few days now and I really think that we've all come to grow on each other, and develop a healthy respect for everyone - you could say we're closer as a group. With that new found trust, and reliability, in place I think it's fair for us all to begin the most dangerous and destructive debate known to man:

Which Cage film is better? The Rock, or Con Air?

Frankly you're the useless part of the placenta is you think The Rock - but I'm leaving it open to the floor.

Let's just say that in no other film ever do you think you've got a happy ending, and then get smacked in the face by a Fire-Truck chase scene. You also don't get a bunny in a box.

Oh, and I'm seriously considering becoming a homosexualist for Steve Bruscemi.

What's wrong? Claiming that we're a tight group, my homosexualishness, or starting an important an potentially life changing debate?

Whatever. I'll just stop then. Then you'll see that this place fucking needs me. It'll dry up without me, and then you'll all be ringing up Parliament like: 'Ooh, is Benro there, someone, please, get him - we've forgotten how to speak to each other on the internet'.

And then I'll have you exactly where I want you.

And that, my friend, is a proven scientific fact.

Every time somebody posts a Connery quote I can't move on until I've read it out loud in his accent.

I'm pretty sure that puts me in the same group as everyone on the planet.

It's from The Wicker Man. Can you spot Nicholas Cage?

Hint: He's cold knocking a bitch out while dressed like a bear.

    Look close.

In what context could Nicholas Cage possibly have a good reason to dress as a bear and knock a bitch out? Wicker Man must've been a ridiculous movie

I'd tell you to watch the film, but I'm pretty sure that gif can only suffer by being placed in context.

Which is not to say that the rest of the movie isn't pretty hilarious as well.

For god's sake, Nick Cage, act harder. HARDER!

Both movies are actually pretty good once you block out Nicholas Cage.

Between his accent in Con-Air and the wholly uncomfortable sex scene in the beginning of The Rock
