    I for one welcome our new sexy amazon warrior queen.

    I R UPGRADING MY COMPUTER MASHEEN!

    current:
    p4 2.8 ghz
    1gb ddr ram
    geforce fx 5200 128mb agp
    80gb hdd

    Im going to get an additional 2gb of corsair ram
    -i don't know what kind of video card i should get
    -want to spend under $100 for the card
    -maybe I need a new HDD.

    I just realise that I fucking love the feeling of drawing stuff although I really suck at it. Started reading Loomis's awesome books from the tutorial thread so hopefully I can draw much better. You guys may see some awful stuff posted later on.

    nvidia 8800 GT is a good budget card
    Anything more than 3GB of memory is useless unless you have a 64bit processor and OS
    You probably don't need a new HDD but I would invest in a cheap NAS to use for storage/backup.

    I wonder how long I'll be able to drive for? I booked a hotel that's 8.5 hours along, because I can't imagine that I'd be able to sleep if I got a hotel earlier on...and 8.5 hours, plus breaks for food (and maybe meetin' up with some PA'ers) seems to be about right for when i'd feel tired.


    I've taken a 6-hour drive before, by myself...and 6 hours back...that was a long drive, and I didn't really take any breaks. I imagine this will be fine, seeing as how it's almost the only thing I'll be doing the whole day. :P

    Ooohh the break will be over. That's right. Thanks for the comp advice grif, but im going to save my money, since agp is on its way out. Ill try and get a more open ended self built system when i have the money.

    I didn't see it when it came out because I was like 8 when it came out. I saw it when I was like...12-14 maybe?

    Also '80's Sheep-Haired Terminator 1 Linda Hamilton' is tremendously disappointing if you saw T2 first and you've got your adolescent fantasies already set in stone.

    Also, I'm still surprised I'm 21 (and a HAFF! :D). It's going to be especially weird when I reach 22.

    Haha, I remember when I was really young, like around 8 or so, college and my 20's seemed SO far away. It just didn't seem possible that I'd actually ever reach that age. :P
