Recording of games: fraps + ventrilo + game audio = ?

So I enjoy making videos of SWAT 4 (see the thread in G&T!). However, now that I'm gaming on with other PAers that use Ventrilo I am trying to figure out how to record audio properly. From what I can tell, Fraps will only pick up game audio AND mic audio if Stereo Mix is enabled. However, this means when I talk on Vent all the game audio is broadcast to everyone as well as my voice.

Does anyone know how to get around this? Anyone know of alternative recording software?

    Ventrillo itself has a recording function

    right click->view->recording/playback

    The problem is that fraps will only record mic audio, and not game audio. D:

    That's odd, it's just the opposite for me. Make sure mic volume is muted.
