Raleigh NC, which means that the train trip would be like, a 2 day deal.

We've all seen The Wire. You're not fooling anyone.

Plus Boston has a big convention center and an awesome aquarium also.

I really do not get the Boston hate in this thread (except for the "it is so far from me" whiners). Boston's a fucking awesome city you can just walk around in. I will admit that New York is more familiar to most of you but you're completely forgetting the defining characteristic of New York City: It sucks.

At least in Boston we don't give three separate subway stations the same name (thanks Canal St. you fucking bitch, gettin Sarah pissed at me because my directions didn't seem to make sense).

Baltimore? Really? What the hell is in Baltimore? I've driven by/through that city a few times, did not see anything noteworthy.

An expensive as fuck aquarium, bullets, a foul harbor and terrible seafood. I am an expert on both cities and based on my expert opinion Boston has Baltimore beat seven ways to Sunday

Baltimore has a Hooters with waitresses who don't look like they just came off their shift on the corner. But the only other one I've been to is in AC where the waitresses are very likely hookers.

Also, parking on the weekends in Boston isn't hard or expensive if you know where the $7 all day garages are.

Because Boston is just teeming with roving bands of drunk fratboys. I mean there are a lot of colleges and all but this is silly.

The real danger would be holding PAX at some time during the football or baseball season and running into rabid sports-fans.

There's actually a pretty cheap hostel really close to the convention centre, it'd mean sharing obviously but - cheapness!

    Just google HI Boston

I assume this will probably be at the Hynes Convention Center which is pretty sweet considering I was just working there a couple of weeks ago.

Boston is a great city, with a lot of gorgeous women, great sports teams, and great beers.

I hope PAX Boston beats the shit out of all the Seattle ones so you naysayers will all have to STFU :P

Those who arrive early in '10 should do the Sam Adams tour. Or they could just visit Boston now.
