You really just have to get out of the mindset that their is some kind of ethics involved in video games specifically PVP type games. If it's in the game, use it. This goes back to the link I posted on page one. Play to Win or shut the hell up when you get owned. There is no such code of ethics or whatever it is you guys are trying to say exists.

People keep saying that they should make it so you aren't so overpowered in your bracket, but they already do that, that is what you fail to realize. They already put level requirements on gear/pots/mounts/food/enchants, all these "limits" you want have already been decided by Blizzard. If they took away the enchants it would be the blues people are crying about, so they take away the blues then someone's crying over pots in BG's, take away consumables and people are crying over someone having "of the bear" gear when they have spirit and shit... it's always going to be something...

Ok lets break this down. Hypothetically I love 29 bracket PVP, specifically a hunter. So I decide I want to roll me a hunter to do nothing but PVP at 29 when my main gets stale. What kind of moron would I be to not want to maximize every available helpful stat that I could for a hunter at 29? Should I make a crappy character so I don't feel guilty about killing the other faction members that didn't take the time to gear up for the BG? I came prepared, you came in half busted rag tag gear, hurting your team more than I'm helping mine, but I'm the asshole somehow.

The problem here is that lowbie BGs were designed to be something you could do as you level up, not a pastime for people who never want to leave. When half the other team is running around in blues and epics, you're useless with nothing but basic quest gear. You might as well not even play. Your little hobby has thus completely ruined the game for the ordinary player.

Isn't the real reason you prefer the 29 bracket PvP because you can afford to have the best gear in the game and stomp everybody else without even having to try?

The problem isn't that some items are better. The problem is that a player that specifically sets out to gear themselves to stay in a particular bracket is grossly overpowered compared to someone that is just leveling through the game. I feel safe saying that the designers expected your average level 29 to have no more than a couple of blues if he were especially lucky. Having every blue available at that level is certainly an exceptional case that wasn't considered.

Yes, there are no rules that say you can't twink or min/max or whatever. There are also no rules that say I can't speculate about a person's mother's sexual promiscuity when I meet them. I'm still an ass for doing it, though.

You know what's worst then twinking?

Seeing that 23 rogue in AH Whites/+ int cloth barking out orders in BG chat.

Or that level 20 Druid without cat or bear form in Arathi Basin

Or that hunter with a Decapitator with Icy charging in for mad raptor strike crits.

Or that mage with 700 health at level 47 snatching the flag with 6 people defending in the base.

These people far far FAR outnumber twinks, or normal people that que up to a low level battleground for that matter.

Seems that you have to play BG's quite a bit to earn the necessary honor for those level 29 PvP items.

WoW is also a video game.

Once I get my WoW cosplay SCA league going it won't be.
I knew you only played a druid because you were a furry.

I like going into bear form and sitting on gnomes.

It's a little like sticking a hamster up your ass, just in reverse.

every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.
