    no, they're not free
But are they substantially more worthwhile for the money if I'm running a decent firewall and don't have disorder whereupon I download and run every executable I come across?

I'm paying the price for the little amount of sleep I get. I got back from the club last night at 4 and woke up at 8:30 to go to work, and I think that my summer flu is turning into summer strep, which I thought was impossible.

    40's are not that ironic.

They are convenient and available at 3 in the morning right outside my apartment at the bodega.

I will be 24, in sixteen days.

So much better than that awful 23. It's so prime. Although this is one of the best years of my life.

In other news, my electronic drum kit is AWESOME. I'm gonna possibly record some stuff today, maybe some blues instrumentals.

I wish I could play any musical instrument.

I got an acoustic guitar for Christmas, but I haven't made the time to learn much yet, and the guitar thread here is a bit intimidating for a true newbie.

You can do it easy peasy. just go to guitartabs online and learn the songs you like to listen to, thats how I learnt and improved, unless you like heavy metal then you're pretty much fucked.

I think Choke is his best and have decent hopes for the movie.

He's not an epic writer or anything but his books are moody and just smart enough to translate well into film.

Fight club was a better movie than a book actually.

this post pretty much sums up my 8 years career of playing guitar.

I can play some Mastodon tracks with a lot of practice, that's about the top end of my face-melting ability.

Mmm, yes. Get one of those pseudo-Teles while you're at it. Also guitar-as-phallic-symbol images are a plus. God, his Superbowl performance was awesome.

my favourite part is when you lose the holistic mystique behind even the simplest songs, because you know how they work, but then you gain an appreciation for the more complex stuff that baffled you or left you cold beforehand.
