Yes, this is true. I can't say anything more on the matter at this time, but we've had some problems recently, and this is the solution we've arrived at. I'm sorry, but this is something that had to be done.

Look, I brought up this problem a long time ago in the mod forum, and we just now reached this conclusion. This descision was several weeks in the making and was not exactly done lightly. I regret that it had to happen before your great milestone, but as soon as I got the greenlight I acted.

I want to know now. The chat was one of the best things in G+T. With out it, we have more thread derails, more flame wars. Th chat made it all more tame. Yes there was some stuff that went on, but it was all with in the rules. I don't see why you just don't take the complaints to the people who post in that thread and have them deal with it. Change the rules and enforce them.
