I have the utmost respect for USCs composition department. Morten Lauridson is one of the nations best composers by far. And for that matter, USC's Film/Composition melding made Bear McCreary, famous for Battlestar Galactica, who also wrote the scores to Eureka and Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles.
USC has an amazing capacity for work with film. Simply incredible.
I've seen Wicked and The Nutcracker down in San Diego. Wicked was pretty alright, and Nutcracker was pretty sweet. Oh, I also saw Rent which was great.
You can also see a well regarded book in the background that is disproves the point I wasn't trying all that hard to make... I'm not stupid... I have a master degree!
