Did Blade get all up in Spitfire's face? Because that's entirely consistent with the way he acts.
You haven't read it yet? Scans_daily has the relevant images up, but if you don't want to read it there:
Wisdom has Blade flown over to the UK, and they're getting ready to head out to Birmingham (which is under attack). Spitfire climes on the plane, and literally as she's doing so she tries to introduce herself, at which point Blade cracks wise and stakes her through the heart.
Accidentally, but yeah, he killed an innocent
And to make it worse, it was a kid
Now we all know how Frank feels about kids
Shit be on now motherfuckers
I was reading through the Secret Origin issue of The Sentry and almost laughed out loud when they travelled through time. You see them going past different times in the Sentry's career and in the bottom left hand corner you can see Sentry apparently beating the Devil in a fiddle playing contest.
Way to kinda defeat the purpose of us using spoilers
Seriously though
It was bad enough that these guys were hurting innocent people
But now they made Frank do it
Hoo boy he gonna kill a bitch now
Though they didn't really force him now did they?
No
But it is their fault that such an event occurred
If they weren't doing this shit, Frank wouldn't have to be there, so on and so forth
Also the fact that a child was involved in the business at all
Look at how the end of this issue echoes the beginning of last month's
Frank ain't just a machine anymore

I haven't read it yet, but I was hoping the first writer wasn't going to jump right into a "Frank kills an innocent" story. I like the idea of exploring a situation like that, but it needs to be handled correctly in my opinion. If he's going to have collateral damage, there have to be major ramifications to his character. The reason that he's such an aberration when it comes to the violent vigilante genre is that he has a Zero civilian bodycount. How do you call someone a villain who only ever hurts villains? If he can't be that anymore, then where does it go from there?
I'm a little worried, but I'll reserve any real criticism for when I get a chance to pick it up.

Well the solicits for the next few issues imply that they're going to make a pretty big thing out of it, despite Ennis' Punisher having killed a whole bunch of people who were arguably innocent. I know what you mean though, hopefully he won't just shrug it off.
Also, having read the issue in question now, yeah it was aight I guess but is it just me or was the art really confusing at times? Especially that scene, where even was he? What did he think he was shooting at?
fray on
"I told you," said Ford. "Eddies in the space-time continuum."
"And this is his sofa, is it?" said Arthur.

the thing about it for me is that matt fraction's punisher has already kind of done the same thing. i mean, it doesn't sound like it's being handled in quite the same way, but still.
Really
Similar events in War Journal and MAX handled differently
Get out
Alternately: Here's hoping this leads to the MAX appearance of the gun that shoots swords

the panel where clarke's explaining what the gun does is probably the best panel from that entire series. everything from his expression to his stance just makes it grade-a hilarity

I'm pretty sure you can find previews of all his novels as well.
You shut your filthy mouth.
Admittedly I haven't read it yet, but once I have I'll get back to you and let you know why you're wrong.
"And this is his sofa, is it?" said Arthur.
Well, at least he's consistent. Suckface is a suckface, right?
