Isn't JoTW supposed to be a raid wide buff or is it strictly a party only type thing. Because putting a retadin in that group for some mana regen isn't a bad idea.

Raid wide. There are no more party only abilities.

Unless you have 2 ret pallies, 2 prot pallies, or one of both, then you're gonna want the holy pallies to keep a judgment up on the boss at all times.

You should always have one ret pally :O

Hell, between auras, blessings, and judgments, every raid will require one of each pally spec.

You really want a prot pally in the raid no matter what for BoSanc on the tank.
Ret pally no matter what for the +3 raidwide crit, JotW, and keeping up one DPS group via their aoe heals.

Well, assuming no drastic loss in power level, we should see how quickly a 10-paladin Kara run will go in the gap between 3.0 and WotLK.

Ret pally no matter what for the +3 raidwide crit, JotW, and keeping up one DPS group via their aoe heals.

Not to mention the 3% haste paladins can give.

Yes, but it use to be when a ret joined the raid people went "oh.....a ret pally". Now they'll be "OH! a Ret Pally!"

This doesn't bother me, because i'll be running nothing but 10-mans, meaning there will almost always be a use for my raid-buffs.

Unless of course munkus is there, which he probably will be.

Raids are progressing to a point where you don't need to bring any specific thing. You bring people because you want to. So thanks for that.

I love the fact that I just played around with the newest talent calculator and found that I can literally spend 66 points in one tree and not feel the slightest bit bad about it.

I forgot, was there some mention of modifying HoJ to act like an interrupt even on stun-immune bosses? 'Cause that would make between-3.0-and-WotLK paladin Kara runs somewhat simpler, rather than that old 10-paladin video where they couldn't stop Julianne's heals and had to bring in alts.

Yeah, there's virtually nothing bad in the ret tree right now. Except for like, deflection. But that's where I dump the 1 point left.

Well, if you've got 2 Ret Paladins in the same raid/group one can totally skip all the Ret Aura improvements.
