Man the way they posed some of those guys... I can picture the box advertising that they come with lifelike crotch thrusting action. I mean, check out Iron Fist here:
Does anyone collect or have bought Shocker toys, Action figures or Shockinis?
If so what do you think of the quality?
If they actually produced any product I might. I have wanted their Scud for a while, but I have no idea if / when it's ever coming out. Their president guy is a dickhead, though and talks a lot of shit for someone that never produces any actual toys.
I thought the Scud figure came out. I managed to snag one at the NYComicon, but that was a con exclusive I guess.

I used to be big into the Shockinis. They're pretty poseable and sturdy block figures and fun to customize too. I'm working on a stop motion with some of them. I've met the owners at some tradeshows and they're pretty nice. I wish they would get the new product out though, as they've had stuff announced for awhile and just not shipped it. I think the SCUD was available as an exclusive so they must be pretty close to shipping.
Why couldn't my childhood 3.75 action figures look -that- good?! Every one of those figures makes me go "WANT IT!" Hulk, Iron Fist, Daredevil and (I hate to admit it) Stealth Wolverine all look great.
Edit: Is it weird that Iron Fist has a low hanging "groin" area? Much lower hanging than most of the other characters. Or is that just awesome?
Hah, good call. Hot Toys is actually calling the layer of sweat on him new technology for mass market action figures. I gotta admit, it looks good, though.

I got a quick question for you guys. When I was a kid, I had three ninties batman action figures. The ones I remember were paraglide batman, and antifreeze batman. I also had a third one that was based off of one of the movies. It was mostly purple with a molded bat symbol, had black gloves and mask, and had green transluscent plastic on the arms and legs. What figure was the last one?
I've always hated movie action figures for adding absurd backpacks and blasters etc to the figures. I particularly remember toys for Jurassic Park turning Sam Neill into an ass kicking killing machine... it was so freaking stupid.
No idea if they still pull that shit these days, but I'm guessing they do.
It's Batarang Batman from the Batman Forever movie - check it out here
Thank you
that's been eating at me for days.
edit: for Batman at least, it almost makes some sense for him to have different suits. He has to be prepared for anything.
The fucking housekeepers made my poor Jango Fett fall, God know how, I cant put the legs back on, the connection thingies are screwed! I suppose glue would do it but I'm afraid!
HAAALp!

When you've dedicated yourself to being prepared for anything, you're going to end up with a weird wardrobe.
Just be glad the Monkey Sex Suit never made it past the prototype stage, though the recent reemergence of Gorilla Grodd might necessitate a second look.
Picked up the Masterpiece Thor. He's one handsome devil. I really like that it has more of a statue look to it- the articulations are pretty well camoflaged. 8/10. The "crafted base" is somewhat lacking, but still better than a plastic disk.
He basically can't move because of the rubber suit, for fear of it tearing, but it is a nice piece of work regardless. I kind of hate this rubber suit trend because outside of my Batman Begins Takara figure, I haven't really seen any figures that could pose worth a damn in the rubber suits. Hot Toys' TDK Bats looks to be very poseable though, so I'm excited to get my hands on that one.

Finally, God Damn It.
Although some of them look disappointingly shitty like Punisher, Hulk, and Torch. Some look cool, like Ronin, Cap, and Black Panther.
However, I hadn't realised G.I. Joe msrp had jumped to seven bucks a figure, which is total bullshit.
Also, Hasbro asking 15 for the shit that they're passing as marvel legends is a joke.
...and this for good measure.
That just looks wrong!
Awesome Punisher.
I don't care what anyone says, I'm buying this.

That's a relief, I thought I was going a little strange.

Jesus my wallet
I love the airbrushed artwork on the packaging showing batman using that ridiculous fucking gun/fishing pole.

he looks an awful lot like the batman of Zur-En-Arrh

Sweet rave parties. Duh.
Honestly though, I have no frakking clue.

who's the fella in the top row on the left? it looks like a neat design, but i don't recognize it from anything.
He's a character from Appleseed, an animes and manga series.
This will only make it worse I bet, but I actually took the time to search for him.
