The Matrix Reloaded had a lot of problems, but it was entertaining
Revolutions on the other hand
Reloaded is the second, right? Yeah, it wasn't that bad.
I like how the robots in Revolution just flew around and didn't attacked while they humans shot at them.
And has anyone else gone through the credits of Reloaded? They even listed the guy who brought the pizzas. And I think we were the only one who saw the trailer for the next movie.
Here you go:
- I started guitar quite literally playing single-note songs, such as Greensleeves and Red River Valley - just get comfortable figuring out how the frets and notes work. Learn to tune it.
- Learn to read tablature (not actually difficult) and pick up some easy power-chord metal. Early Metallica (Ride the Lightning) was mine. Other good choices are Skid Row, Motorhead, and pretty much anything by Nirvana.
- Once you get power chords down, turn off the amp and go to real chords. Metal Ballads are the easiest way, and many are just 4-bar melodies with 4 notes.
- Dye your hair blonde, wear spandex, and rock the fuck out to millions of fans.

I liked how every single fight scene ended 20 minutes after you'd expect them to

After the orgasm cake scene I was whispering to my buddy Andy to pass me the flask of Morgan. My sister and one of my roommates were in denial that it sucked for a while. My roommate came around by the week after however my sister wouldn't admit it until she saw the third one and couldn't sit through it.

It would be kinda funny if 300 ended up really sucking
300 looks awful to me. It looked awful at E3 and everything I've seen since looks awful. There's more to art than a pixel-shaded cinematic look and wire-fu gladiatorism.

I'm thinking of starting with Dragonforce.
My guitar pack has an electric tuner so it's pretty easy to tune. But I dunno, I gotta get someone who knows guitar to really look at it and show me stuff. The strings are supposedly "in tune" and they sound pretty good, but they feel really loose to me. Like I get a lot of fret buzz and stuff. And also, the string heights, I'm not sure what they're supposed to be.

Thanks. Those look interesting. I've kinda been looking for an answer to "What's the logic behind all this crap?" and "How do I know the best place to put my fingers?"
I might give those a read seeing as I won't be able to get real lessons until the Summer.

learn wish you were here by pink floyd.. its easy and itll annoy knob
I very much love that song.
Also a great first full-chord song to learn. The bridge has some great picking for a beginner, and it teaches you all the chords you use in 90% of other songs: C, D, Am, G. Fuck, between that song and Hotel California, I think you have 100% coverage of every song written, ever.
what type of music do you like? Alot of hardcore guitar folk say you should start off doing some excersise then progress to the next excersise etc. Just pick a nice popular song that you like (if you like any popular stuff that is, the beatles maybe) something with easy chords, such as the A D C G chords and learn that to start. It'll be easy enough to play and if people know the song they'll think its great (provided they don't play anything). Also get lessons for Gods sake, all advice hear will be ultimatley worthless

NO WAIT I KNOW
learn this song first and you will be a GOD http://youtube.com/watch?v=25a2YurVvvU
Steve Martin taught himself to play it by slowing down records and then downtuning the banjo and figuring the songs out from there.
