Personal MotW were the end of Batman Confidential and the last half of Invincible Iron Man. Deadpool was pretty good as well.

The Walking Dead was really good this week. The story just unfolded nicely, tied up some loose ends and set the stage for where we're headed for the future.

    Also the end,
I'm a scientist mister, and I know just what caused this whole thing.

Deadpool was great stuff, though I'm not quite sure what the heck actually happened to the clones, i.e. why the healing factor would result in that insanity. No big deal though, since the rest was great.

My anti-MOTW was that Boys volume 3 arrived, and was just more than a bit disappointing. Not for the reasons so many people whine about it, but rather that it felt like almost nothing happened in it.

what did volume 3 cover? because it actually get's interesting when Huey starts learning about the Boy's universe

All of Secret Invasion: Inhumans #3 is my MotW, along with the reveal of Rosey in Archie Sonic #193. The fight between Zeke Stane and Tony in Invincible Iron Man #6 was very satisfying as well.

I don't have it in front of me, but it included Legend giving him the whole schpiel about the history, etc.

My problem with it is that like, 90% of it is just written exposition. Instead of showing us how things happened, etc. we just get told. As a result, most of it is just talking heads. Don't get me wrong, the content of those stories is interesting. I just don't like the presentation.

It was necessary to see the descent into depression from the Seven's new waif, but at the same time it seems more than a little ridiculous that all she did was partially blind A-Train. Frankly, I don't know why she wouldn't fully blind him, intentionally. After already quasi-raping her, he was now trying to fully rape her. I mean, given how willing Homelander is to murder A-Train already for his joke about blowjobs in front of the corporate rep, what held her back?

I'm still enjoying the series, but just disappointed about this trade.

Fuck all that, both GL books came out this week
I think we can all agree that Secret Origins was just alright but who cares that means next month is Rage of the Red Lanterns
    Also
We gonna get to see some Star Sapphire Corps soon in GLC

The Ender's Game comic isn't bad, I think they basically picked up the book, and decided to draw some pretty pictures to go with the first three chapters, and have someone edit some of the rougher dialog. It feels like it was lifted word for word from the book.

not because of the story content, but rather because it was unnecessary to do all that retconning just to introduce the red lanterns

Detective Comics was my favorite from this week. Somehow Dini and Nyugen made Hush into a great villain.

The reveal near the end made me go "whaaaat"

I thought his art in the first couple of issues was fantastic but it feels like the quality has been dropping. I dont know if maybe he's falling behind and having to rush to meet deadlines or what, but it's fallen off since issue 1.

It's not just that. The coloring is just...weird. I don't really know how to explain it. You know how a lot of CG humans sink into the Uncanny Valley because the skin isn't translucent enough or something? I get a similar feeling from some of the coloring in IIM.

I agree with this. I like the way he draws the Iron Man armor itself but his people just look wrong, same reason I don't like Frank Quitley's art.

Secret Six is awesome, but something confused me about this issue.
Alcatraz is a prison for metas, and they even say "every prisoner is a meta", but they break out Tarantula who doesn't have any powers.

it seems to me that in both universes, when dudes dress up in costumes and get caught, they go to the super-slammer whether or not they have powers.

i guess that's not really true though, now that i'm thinking about it. they kept hammerhead in ryker's during that daredevil arc (who doesn't count, because they hadn't proved he was daredevil), and that dude's got powers or something. a forehead, at least.

edit- i just looked up hammerhead and it turns out his head is because he got an adamantium plate put in it, no powers. so my theory stands!

Yeah, but Geoff Johns has been meticulous about using past GL plot and storyline threads. All this retconning will most likely have a major impact later on.
