And one by one, the Cylon models voted in favor of withdrawing back to Cylon space. For the time being.
"So be it", Ten said.

Just as quickly as they had attacked, they left; for weeks, we did not see any sign of the cylons. Weeks became months. Once again, we hoped that the Cylons were gone for good; but they had suddenly returned once, so why not again? It was too still too early to hope for the best.
During the fleet's travels we found a habitable planet, with breathable oxygen, water, vegetation and even cover from DRADIS. Despite the search for Earth, most of the fleet elected to remain there. It seemed our search had come to a close early; but the people needed something to hold on to.
For almost a year New Phallica thrived, and hope grew that the human race would be safe once again.
Once again, we were wrong.
Less than fifty thousand of us now live on the Cylon occupied New Caprica, waiting for the return of the Phallastar Phallactica. Our freedoms are gone, the Cylons claiming to do what is best for us. But each day more people vanish without warning, taken by the New Phallica Police in the middle of the night.
A human police force, established by the frakking Cylons.
There's still hope, though. Hope that the Phallactica will return for us, to rescue the rest of the human race.
And until then...
We fight them until we can't.

Q: What’s a Phalla?

Q: How Phalla is this Phalla?
A: This will be a fairly traditional Phalla, particularly compared to the original Phallastar Phallactica. Players will not need to worry about stations on specific ships. However, there may still be events that are a mixture of Phallout-esque PvE combat and tactical decitions made by both the good and evil players. There is at least one evil faction: the humanoid Cylons and their collaborators. Any roles that have occurred in past Phallas may occur here, including millers and thralls.
Q: I've never watched Battlestar Galactica. Can I play?
A: Definitely. You don't need to know anything about the show to be able to play this Phalla, and conversely, knowledge about the series probably won't be of much use except in terms of immersion and atmosphere. The Wikipedia Articles and the Battlestar Wiki are good starting points if you want to learn the basics.
Q: Will there be spoilers?
A: I'm taking enough liberties with the storyline to ensure that the game events don't in any way spoil the plot of the show. However, it's possible that the discussions by players involve mild spoilers; I'll address that in a separate Spoiler Rules section.
General Rules
Vote close time is going to be at midnight EST. I know this is late for some players, but it is also the only time that I will be able to reliably have all actions tallied and the narration up shortly.
Make the village kill vote in red, retract in lime. Retractions are recommended to make double-checking vote counts easier both for me and the players, but I won't consider them mandatory.
Don't be inactive. I require two posts a day, including votes. I will not be culling the inactives on a daily basis, but I will get around to dealing with them eventually. If you can't be around on a given day, letting me know beforehand will increase your chances of avoiding my wrath. If you can't play anymore, let me know so I can find a replacement.
Role PMs may not be quoted, only paraphrased. Anonymous contact is prohibited.
Any external boards that are created must be accessible to me.
All actions are to be sent to the GM account Ares of Kobol.
SPOILER RULES
Please keep BSG plot discussion on a fairly generic level. Seasons 1 and 2 are considered relatively fair game, but please have the common decency to avoid massive spoilers. I'm still debating about Season 3 - if you wish to see Season 3 spoilers treated one way or another, give your input in the thread.

Gameplay Mechanics

The players must elect a leader for the insurgency. The mechanics and voting procedure for this position will be revealed once the game starts.
