The Marvel addiction on EVENTS WITH VERY EVENT-LIKE BIG NAMES (We have had like fifteen in the span of two years, and I'm pretty sure that I am not exaggerating that) is starting to annoy me. I don't really follow Marvel (Or DC for that matter) anymore except for small bits with some of my favorite characters, but this shit is seriously starting to get ridicolous. I mean, the heroes have barely recovered from the last huge thing that was supposed to CHANGE THEIR LIVES FOR FOREVER when they are suddenly faced with something that THEY HAVE NEVER FACED BEFORE...AND SOME OF THEM WILL NOT SURVIVE and whoops, a week later it's MARVEL UNIVERSE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME again.
Give us a break for just a while, please? Granted, this is the Ultimate Universe (how did they manage to fuck it up so fast anyway?)
Re: Xavier's hair
Waaay waaay back when, like in the first Essentials back, it's shown that his hair fell out right around the time his powers manifested
Could someone explain the whole thing with Ultimate Nick Fury after the end of Ultimate Power up until now. How come he just appeared in Ultimate Spider-man last issue and everyone is like, "Oh hi Nick, you still leading the Ultimates and all that super spy stuff?"
yeah, that also confused the hell out of me. I initially thought that it just meant Ultimate Spidey just haven't caught up to the Ultimate power continuity then realised that Fury was gone during the "Death of a goblin" arc.
so WTF Bendis.

those were flashbacks
to the Ultimate Spider-man Video game
which take place before Ultimate Power
The muscles on the left arm don't look bad, and you can't really see the right
The right's what I'm talking about. I can't even tell if it's meant to be his bicep or his forearm but either way that is some outlandish shit right there.

"I told you," said Ford. "Eddies in the space-time continuum."
"And this is his sofa, is it?" said Arthur.

The bit you're looking at is his right leg. I thought it was the arm at first too. Either way, the fact that people have difficulty telling apart arms and legs in the image suggests the pose is not ideal.
Unless you're a blind man that's not a hard pose to comprehend
He's kneeling with his right foot forward. He's leaning down over said leg, with his left arm forward and the right back.
Almost like he's about to launch out of the crouch and do something
its not hard to figure out, but you do have to figure it out. the pose is not instantly decipherable.

It's the same guy who wrote the episode "Company Man" which is so much better than every single other episode of Heroes it may as well be a different show.
You're thinking of Bryan Fuller whos now on Pushing Daisies.
He's not writing anything for Marvel to my knowledge.
Have we sufficiently covered the "Argh, Loeb?!" angle, because I really don't think we can stress that too much. I mean, even if Marvel for whatever reason looks at his work and continues to think more of the same is good, why in god's name would you let him play in your one relatively pristine corner with all the pieces at once?
People forget that Marvel Comics is a business and that mediocre to poor talents who can earn money (or at least turn their work in on time) are always going to have a place there, regardless of how much discriminating fans may loathe them.

oh thanks. i didn't realise that we're still in flashback mode four issues into the latest arc.

Yeah, but the thing is, you're not supposed to give these people events.
Adding this to the OP. Spotted it while looking through Scans_Daily. Probably the most interesting of the teasers yet concidering he's had little air-time within the Ultimate books.

And Jeph Loeb? Seriously? :x
I mean aside from the Loeb thing, that I get
Still, I have to read the aftermath, if for Millar only.

Who's the artist there? McGuiness? I'm a little freaked out by the obscenely Liefeldesque musculature on those arms

You see the back of his upper arm and his shoulder
The rest is covered by the right leg

There's two Stranges in the Ultimate-verse. The one who's had contact with Spider-Man is Stephen Strange Jr. Stephen Sr is off missing somewhere.
