Hey, I thought Capt. Metropolis wasn't going to be in the Watchmen movie. He's on imdb there.

i still have no idea what the plot of the movie is. I've been seeing mostly shots of the Comedian in action which is confusing

A vigilante named Rorschach investigates the murder of a man thrown out of a New York city skyscraper--that man turns out to be the masked hero the Comedian.

    ...hilarity ensues.

Also if you aren't going to read the book just watch the first Watchmen motion comic. It sets up the story quite nicely and if you don't want any of the twists spoiled just leave it at that until the movie comes out.

    Seriously read the book though.

It also jumps around timelines from the 40s to the 80s in an alternate history kind of earth where superheros changed everything.

I've read the book! recently, but still. It was fucking amazing. I reread it a bunch right after finishing it.

I was just under the impression that the movie had a different plot. Wasn't there something about them changing the villain or the moral of the story or some shit?

    an environmental theme?

People said the environmental thing was a change but that's already totally in the book with all the electric cars and stuff. Maybe they'll just focus on it a bit more.

The ending you are talking about is probably the ending from that shitty script that they are not using.

    people are retarded.

Moore, on the other hand, is fucking amazing. I feel like looking at his writing right now, but i lent watchmen to a friend and don't have the Killing Joke anymore

Yeah people are dumb. At first I heard all of this mention of, "Zach Snyder added some new subplot about alternative fuels and oh no blah blah blah." Then I read it again and it was already right there. There are constantly cars fueling up on electricity at the newstand and everything.

    motion comic?

It's really cool. Get each part for 1.99 on itunes or all parts for 19.99.

They basically use all kinds of different methods (with the original pictures) like unfocusing the foreground/background, moving and even animating some of the charactes, panning the camera around etc. so that it's almost like watching a cartoon.

Also a dude narrates the whole thing (WARNING: he narrates the women.)

They are coming out every 2 weeks now and the 2nd part was glorious. The way they edited the comic book to do the
    rape scene

was done very well I thought.

Oh sweet they are talking about the Incredible Hulk being the villian for the first Avengers movie.

I thought it would be better as a second Avengers movie but at least they are thinking on the right track.

A friend of mine punched a paparazzi in the face a couple of weeks ago. She was at her holiday home and going shopping and the guy was outside in his car taking pictures. She walked up to the car, he didn't close the window fast enough and "BAM" right in the head. Then she smashed his camera. It didn't make the papers because presumably he was too embarassed to say he got his ass kicked by a girl.

Why was a paparazzo taking pictures of your friend?

More plot has come out about the muppet movie
Written by Todd Berger from a story by Dee Austin Robertson and Berger, the story takes place in a world where humans and puppets co-exist, with the puppets viewed as second-class citizens. When the puppet cast of an '80s children's TV show called "The Happytime Gang" begins to get murdered one by one, a disgraced LAPD detective-turned-private eye puppet -- with a drinking problem, no less -- takes on the case.
    It's Rolfe.
