Edit: Urgh, I have center tags on the damn thing and it previews it as centered, but nooooooo.
I hope they don't because they'd probably just make it creepy. And when they went to the black room with the weird noises, I was really scared. And I wouldn't be able to play the game.
I think it has a lot of promise for entertaining things to do gameplay-wise. And if they included a simple level designer or something, it could be pretty entertaining for a while. And imagine fun things like invisible multiplayer soccer in an invisible maze!

I have no ideas how difficult the splash animations would actually be, but fixing the balls wouldn't take much besides a simple texture/some shading, maybe tweak the trajectory a bit or something, and then change up the sound effects.

Namely Hostel.
But Saw is worse. Mainly because it's just as predictable as most horror movies are but instead of the female surviving after killing the bad guy it's the bad guy who survives. But in a way it's worse because the victims never have a chance in hell and so really the only thing you get is a bunch of boring scenes with dumb clueless nuts running around til their eventual death.
And now it's spawned a reality show called "Scream Queens" where a bunch of women compete for a cameo appearance in Saw VI.
Whee.
But hey, how about Beverly Hills Chihuahua!
Actually, the twists at the end of the movies are done quite well, Hostel has nothing to do with Saw and was written by Eli Roth before the first was released, and only in Saw 3 were some of the traps uvwinable.
But hey, I don't think I could change your mind.
Have you seen The Fall?
It's so awful and people call it a "horror" movie. No. It's just bit of gore with a ridiculous plot. That is not a twist ending, that is just hackneyed writing.
For those curious the video that's lower is actually pretty good.
I admit to bias since Jigsaw is just so adept at avoiding police whether it be in the first one where he was caught and escaped in a horribly stupid fashion or the beginning of the second with the lame ass traps there.
And in the third one with the dumbass husband who never thought to question what the hell the device around his wife's neck was before killing the only guy who knew.
Whoops.
You had to sit down but before that you had taunt boxer straps around your salves and your ass showing from the shorts falling some while you bent over trying to get them off.
You fail.
The whole point of the 3rd movie was that the husband was a rage-filled d-bag and only thought about himself.
Not to mention that the other things you mentioned are straight up opinion.
Did he come to school that day with his dancing abilities, or were they just granted to him? Why would he take them along unless he was expecting catastrophe?
Something here just doesn't add up...

And then Saw reminds me of how much horror films bug me.
The victims in most horror do something (no matter how trivial) to 'deserve' death. Like the Scream thing of 'don't have sex'.
I just want horror without gore, where bad stuff happens to good people. Because it does, all the time, and that's actually scary.
Did you really think I'd make this chat without expecting the backlash? I knew coming into this that I was one of the only SAW fans on PA.

Adrenaline is a funny thing; some people like it, some hate it.
Only the first movie pulls a deus ex on you, the others have twists that are great, but you can figure out if you're paying attention.
4chan has a great section for that sort of stuff, believe it or not.
It's gotten so that movies push the envelope just for the sake of pushing the envelope.
Ya, that's a lot of blood and guts and sadism you've got there, you're totally breaking boundaries for decent reasons.
Spoiler one or two of them for me. I end up raging so hard while I watch the Saw movies that I black out bits and pieces.

Literature makes me paranoid. Movies can be a little tense and are damn fun/entertaining but with video games i'm sleeping with the lights on clutching a baseball bat hoping to make it til morning.
