Round 1: Let's Get Ready to Rumble!
The bright lights of the arena are shining down onto the ring tonight. The WVBA, which as an organization has gone through the ringer with the problem fighters and accusations of doping, had promised a drastic shake up to return to its former glory. The front office had put its more respected and distinguished members in charge of weeding out the riff raff of the association. The whole roster would be given their say as well, a smaller role perhaps, but still a voice. That was fair, the commissioner thought to himself. He had awarded the championship of each of the three circuits in a lottery fashion, so that no one could call him unfair once again.
So now, under the spotlight, and under tremendous pressure, these men would be literally fighting for their lives.
Round 1 has begun. !Vote for whom you believe should enter early retirement. All actions and votes will be due by tomorrow at 11 PM EST. FYI, the current champions will be in the OP.

Basically I was looking to randomly pick someone since there's no evidence of who's best to pick on day 1, so I decided whoever would rhyme best with the old Muhammed Ali line would win it.
Yours didn't fit terribly well, but at least it was close.

(ooc: Hmm, I'd better start getting into character again lol, glad I could help! As for my name, it's actually supposed to be Vendal Thornheart... I only realized much later that it looks more like "VT Hornheart" than it does "V Thornheart", hence the understandable confusion. It was kind of embarassing actually, I had a boss who asked me for my E-Mail address on a form, and I wrote it down, and he was like "... Hornheart?" and... well, yeah. Anyways, it's an understandable confusion. )
